I’ve been going to the Smithville lake since I was a kid. I love fishing and everytime we go fishing we always go to this bait shop. They have everything you need from all the fishing accessories to licenses and live baits. The store is kind of small and it’s packed with fishing supplies. They prices are descent and you can get your fishing license from there. The customer service is excellent. They are really friendly and nice. This is the only bait shop I know that is close to the lake and really happy with the location.

Gary was our fishing guide at the lake today. He was patient with the kids, pleasant to be with and really seemed to enjoy his work. My kids are four and six. Five stars!
The bait shop (owned by Gary) is just like you’d expect. They have everything you need including fishing licenses.
