I brought my computer in because the screen had gone totally blank. The owner and President Robert was the person that helped me ASSOON as I explained my problem to the front desk. It was a simple fix that probably could have been done without the visit, but he explained everything to me in a way that I could understand AND gave me a tip on how to strengthen the battery. When I asked if there was a service charge, he seemed confused and explained that he had«done nothing but help a simple fix» and that no charge was necessary. If I had dropped the computer off overnight I would expect some sort of service charge, other places may have even charged for the five minutes I was in there, but Robert is a TRUE owner and understands the customer experience. I will bring my computer nowhere else in the future. Thank you Robert and Ocean State Computers in Smithfield, RI. I dropped off computer with a cracked screen, they said let us give you a price, no mention of fee. When I went to pick up computer, they made me pay $ 45 diagnostic fee. The diagnosis– it has a cracked screen.
