It’s a crap shoot depending on who helps you. There’s a very helpful and nice lady working the counter who is a joy to work with. There is an older black gentleman who is arrogant and rude. Go to the right register and you’ll be ok. Go to the wrong one and you’ll be pissed off the rest of the day.

Here is a letter to uhaul in response to a rate increase sent July 9th, 2014! Mr. Marty, I acknowledge the rate increase on my unit. Your email stated you pride yourself on the cleanliness of the facility. Please be aware that there have been dead roaches in upper B since we have moved in, one of them in front of the unit next to us. We understand pest control is an issue in the south, however it would seem that a staff member should periodically check the grounds. To my knowledge the roaches have been dormant on the floor since late June. Also, the climate control function of the unit has been non functional for a week(at my best guess). We’ve asked staff about this and were told that the air was being«worked on» and we’ve been to the unit several times in the past week to find that it is very hot and no air flow is felt in the building. Should we expect a credit of some sort because our belongings are not being kept cool? We have had many problems accessing the unit with our 24 hour access, only to have to call the number posted on the sign and a lady who no longer works at your facility was not happy to be called at 11:30pm. After calling corporate, we were told your staff assigned us business access hours, yet we have been paying for 24 hours. Are we to expect compensation for this as well? We have had a terrible experience with U haul in Denver and Ryan at your store was particularly helpful to us in making this transition to Slidell. We feel you should be aware of the issues we’ve encountered at your facility so that you can address them and improve service for others. Thank you for your time and attention to these matters. A letter sent to management that has had no attn called to it. Looks like we might be moving out soon!
