The Service Department is so awesome. They are reasonably priced and so, so dependable. Jeff and Chris have helped me out of more than one jam, and are incredibly professional. Mechanics make me anxious – there are so many horror stories, and everyone assumes the dealership will rip you off. Not the case with Toyota Slidell. You know the job will be done correctly and for a fair price. We live in New Orleans and I work in Slidell, so it’s convenient, but my husband and I bring both our cars here, even if I’m not working. Love them!

I found a used truck advertised on-line and made an appointment to see the vehicle. I drove 180 miles with enough cash for a down payment. The«On-Line» salesman passed me on to another salesman. After 30 minutes I handed the guy $ 1000. with the agreement that I would come back within the week to pay the balance in full. Things then went down-hill. I still have work to do back home and want to get on the road but I can’t seem to get a receipt from these guys. The salesman tries to stall me by making up lies about government forms needing to be filled out carefully etc. Then they offer to finance the balance but won’t say at what interest rates. They made me wait 90 minutes to get a receipt and it was on a tiny Office Depot form that did not have the sale or vehicle information on it! Then the Master Salesman comes out and says he won’t sell me the car unless I pay cash right now or sign-up for his financing! He wants to make more money on the financing. I offered to put $ 2000. down on the truck and pay the balance in four days but he refuses my offer. He said his own receipt is no good! After three and one half hours, I took back my $ 1000. and walked out. Lies, sales pressure and manipulation are what these boys are all about.
