Last year we moved to lake arrowhead from monrovia where we attended and were aparantly spoiled at our local parish, st lukes. We have attended st Richards twice and have been disappointed both times. Last year we came on «star word day». It was fun, but as a cradle episcopalian, it was something that was foreign to me. We chose words that were supposed to have divine significance. We have two children and there was NO program for them. Both sermons were lacking, although they were from two different priests. I grew up in an Anglican community that embraced diversity. We had high hopes when we were at St Luke’s that our kids would experience the same Love that I did. Looks like we’ll have to make the trip down the hill or find a new denomination. I will say that the building and garden were beautiful and the location was great.

A warm, friendly and traditional place of worship They say all are welcome and you surely are made to feel just that. Lovely sanctuary as well as a meditation garden. .

I have been a periodic visitor to St. Richard’s since 1989. It is the friendliest parish that you can hope to find. Typically with services at 8AM and 10AM on Sunday, you can expect a warm welcome, good music(traditional church), an excellent sermon and the episcopal liturgy. I love it here!
