Love Sister’s!!! Great bikini waxes and you are in and out in 20 mins! I usually go to Janette but have been to others there and they do such a great job! They make you feel comfortable and treat you like one of the family here… def go see them, best in the area!!!

The staff was friendly and professional from the start. As a new customer, they welcomed me and made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in the salon. The receptionist as well as the esthetician were very funny and cracked jokes to decrease my anxiety the whole time! It definitely worked! I left smiling and thinking what was I scared about again?! All I can say is I will definitely come back again and will refer this place to any first timers!

I have been coming to sisters for over 12 years. From bikinis to facials to an occasional home made treat for after, sisters salon knows how to treat their clients. Respect, dignity, cleanliness, perfection, you will never walk out feeling disappointed. I’m a busy mom to four young children, and even when I come in for a quick wax, I leave feeling rested and like a new person. Sisters salon has also helped me get over some major anxiety issues I had from life by performing relaxing facials with massages that let my mind wander and I felt like a new person after each treatment. They also made my skin glow with weekly facials for five weeks (before my brothers wedding that I was standing up in)…you will be glowing and knowing that you look good… this again is due to exceptional treatments as well as gained confidence just by coming here. I wish I could write a review each time I come here but all of my comments will turn into a novel :) I love sisters and appreciate them from the bottom of my heart.

Sister’s Salon is the best spot for all your waxing, eyebrows, and facials needs. Excellent service! Exceptionally clean and very friendly. Once you try them you will never go anywhere else!

LOCATION: kinda hard to find since the location just says Old Orchard Center.
Walk down the pathway between Macys, Buffalo Wild Wings (opening January), and Potbellys into the mall. Then, right after you pass Lens Crafters (which is on the left) there’s a little sign that says Service Collection Suite on the right side. Go through that door, down the stairs, and Sisters Salon is on your left!
Clean, friendly, amazing! Three words to explain my experience today. I used to get European facials from this one chain massage place for years and was totally missing out! Had a Sister’s Signature Facial done here by Lucy today and it was awesome! She started out assessing my skin and based on what needs to be done, they start doing their magic. Everything was totally hygienic here and clean. After extraction, she used this wand thing to kill germs on my face. This facial also comes with the best face and neck massage ever as well as arm massages which she put in a heated pouch! I had a lot of nastyness (zits, blackheads, whiteheads) on my face so yes, the extractions hurt like a mother. [last facial was 8 months ago!] The best part is that although they suggested products for my skin, they ABSOLUTLEY DID NOT pressure me!!! They also gave me a sample of toner to use! I will definitely be coming back here in a few months!

If you want your girly parts cleaned up, this is the place to go.
I’ve had Brazilians done before, but never a Sister’s Brazilian until last month. Holy moly! The woman who did my wax job was in my stuff like a Nascar mechanic and I walked away with the best wax I’ve ever had in. my. life.
Usually, you have to go back every couple of weeks for a touch up. I have no idea what kind of wax they use, but my wax lasted for at last 1.5 months. Of course, snatching hair with hot wax is painful, but the technique they use reduces the pain associated with waxing.
Once you find this little gem in the crevices of Old Orchard, you will thank me and every other Unilocaler for letting you in on waxing best kept secret. It’s clean, they are quick and they take credit cards.
This is the ONLY place I will go to for waxes for now on!

I can’t believe for as often as I check in here, I’ve neglected to give this salon a review. I have been a client for going on 5 years and they are the best. They have another location on Michigan Ave which I have also been to, and the services they provide are stellar! These ladies know what they’re doing and they do it very well. The Brazilian which may instill fear in many is a breeze here, and after trying it here, I wouldn’t go anyplace else!
All of your bits and pieces are very well taken care of and the service they provide is professional, friendly and yes, gentle! Love these ladies, give them a try! Solid 4.5 stars, no matter who is servicing you.

Apparently having an appointment doesn’t mean much here. I arrived for my appointment right on time after racing from work to get there by 5 pm. The receptionist assured me m technician would be right with me. 15 minutes later A woman comes in for her 5:30 appointment and they take her right away. It turns out there was another technician available the whole time I was waiting. I then asked the receptionist how much longer and after checking with my technician he tells me it will be another 10 minutes! I had a very tight schedule, which is why I made an appointment rather than walking in. But I guess someone else walked in or was very late so I got screwed. I had to leave without getting the wax. I’m leaving for a beach vacation tomorrow and now I’ll have to shave. The worse part is that I’ve had better waxes and my daughters are always telling me I should go elsewhere but I stuck around out of loyalty?!

Fantastic. I’ve been waxing for 20 years and can assure you they know what they are doing here when it comes to waxing. Clean, efficient and every hair was gone. Brazilian was painless (really!!) and customized. Came here at 6pm and they in no way rushed me even though I didn’t leave until 5 minutes after closing time. Highly recommend.

They open at 8am.

Lucy is FANtastic. I’ve been waxed at many nail salons and it’s never been a clean wax. But Lucy… oh Lucy, she got every stinking hair and plucked the ones that didn’t come up with the wax. I’m tellin ya, it’s a little more than what you’d pay at a nail salon, but it’s worth it for sure.

Seriously, the best place for waxing services.
Ladies, if you’re nervous or have had a bad experience and are looking for a new place do NOT hesitate.
I have been going in for waxing services everything from legs to full Brazilian. Now, since I stared laser hair treatments I am a regular for my Brazilians.

I have been to both Sister’s locations on and off for years. I enjoy going to the downtown location and have always had a positive experience. It is a no frills waxing salon that takes care of business. I am usually in and out and never have and «post-​waxing» problem. I have heard that some of the ladies work at both locations so I thought it would be no problem going to the Old Orchard location because I was up there for work. I called and took an appointment not even asking who it was with. I was with someone I hadn’t had before — I think her name is Añu — anyway, she was an incredibly nice woman who took her time but was really trying and made some nice conversation. All was ok, despite the length 35 minute appointment. I didn’t even mind that she had to do a couple tries for many of the strips she was pulling off. HOWEVER, 6 hours later I am in INCREDIBLE pain. I am swollen and irritated, in fact walking hurts. Disgusting I know, but it must be said. I didn’t mind it when I was there but coming home and being in this condition makes me want to never go back. I assume that if others have felt this way before that they would not be going back either. Ripping one strip three times to get it off or get at the right angle cannot be good. She needs to get a better angle and pull harder, the weak yanks aren’t going to take anything off of this bod. I will go to my «B» Place, Trim because I am not sure i can handle this situation again. OUCH!

Still LOVE this place and now I love it even more! They have added massages to their services! So now I can go get my quick brazilian and reward myself with a relaxing massage :) Although I prefer deep tissue massages and Sarah does an amazing job relieving my aches and pains. Thanks to the friendly receptionists, I’ve managed to make time to get a massage every other week now that she’s there! Oh I almost forgot! Sarah helps out with the massage portion of the facials as well if she’s available; great bonus :) That’s how I met her the first time and I was hooked!

The best facial experience in my lifetime! Jeanette works magic with her skilled fingers. I highly recommend this outstanding skin care salon.

FABULOUS! I first went on the recommendation of two different friends and I am glad that I did! From the reception to the technician, everyone is professional and courteous. I felt comfortable at all times and the waxing was done in a respectful manner. In addition, no red bumps or bad reactions ever!
Do not go anywhere else! Sisters is the best!

Love, love, LOVE this place. They have two locations, one at Water Tower, and this one. I usually come to Old Orchard for parking ease, and every facial I get with Mimi is awesome. I’ never had a facial before coming to Sisters, and was scared that it would be a bit painful. My experiences are the exact opposite: relaxing and soothing, I always almost fall asleep!
As for the «receptionist,» there’s a few girls working at Old Orchard now, but I’ve encountered him at Water Tower recently. While it isn’t exactly the norm to see a straight male in a spa/​salon, I didn’t see a problem with it. He was professional, courteous, and polite, as any good receptionist should be.

Boy, was THIS a mistake…
I strongly feel that anyone who likes this kind of waxing place doesn’t know any better…
I usually go to Beauty and Soul downtown for all my lady parts grooming needs but decided to spend the day with my best friend and go with her to HER place, Sisters. I was long over due (ew) and figured what the hell…
First, the «receptionist» was a man, and, I believe, a straight man… oh, it matters and you know it! He was loud and kept talking. Then when waxers would come out of their appointments he would ask them how much to charge for the customer they just finished with and they would yell out the price as they walked around doing stuff. I find it tacky to announce how much a customer owes, particularly in front of all the other customers waiting…
I went in. My ‘girl’ came in right after me. I had to just take my pants off and get my clothless bottom half ass up there while she stood and waited. Look, I’m certainly not a prude, after all, she WOULD be doing some work ‘down there’ but geez! Leticia at Beauty and Soul gives me thin cloth undies to put on and gives me a minute alone to get on the table…
I tried to explain what I wanted but it’s pretty obvious they have their system down. I’m thinking everyone gets the same wax here. She just slapped in on and ripped it off in such a quick, frantic manner it’s a wonder my eye-​lashes weren’t ripped off! And it hurt more than my other place and the cloth strips left bits of lint all over me…
I couldn’t get all I wanted taken care of because it cost almost 3 times as much as my other place. Oh, and they only take cash or checks…
2 stars for being fast (if not TOO fast) and having appointment times last minute… then again, it’s probably because they wax at lightening speed.
I will NEVER cheat on Leticia again…
