R & S Tree Service & Landscaping

I contacted R & S Tree Service to cut down and stump grind 4 large trees. The 4 trees were cut down and removed as requested in a satisfactory manner. In order accommodate the stump grinder, a storage shed had to be relocated so the stump grinding was completed on another day. The owner Rick Solties’ associate handled the stump grinding. During this process, a sprinkler line was cut and damaged in 3 places and deliberately covered with the saw dust from the stump grind more that a foot deep. I discovered the damage just after Mr. Solties was paid in full and had left. I contacted Mr. Solties and he assured me he would send someone right away to repair the damage. Supposedly (when I wasn’t there) someone came out to make the repair, but I was told he needed different parts. Mr. Solties assured me the repairs would be made the following day. No one ever showed up and of course my check had been cashed.
For some, a damaged ½ inch sprinkler line may seem like no big deal, but to a senior like me it was since I had to assume extra cost to get it fixed.
In summary, R & S Tree Service did an adequate job in cutting down my trees. However, Rick Solties handled this situation in an unprofessional and callous manner. In addition, he appears to lack integrity. I would NOT recommend R & S Tree Service, especially if you are a senior, or if, integrity, honesty, and professionalism are important to you.

I called R & S Tree Service & Landscaping and (Rick) was able to come out that same day and give me a quote. I had also called two other services. Rick was able to save me hundreds of dollars and did an amazing job. I would definitely use this service again and will highly recommend him to my family and friends. Very affordable service and very knowledgeable and gets the job done in a timely fashion.
