I just got back into mountain biking and after getting a rocky mountain instinct from Paul, I went back into the shop to have him adjust everything to my specifications. He spent literally hours answering all of my stupid questions and never once alluded to the fact that I kept him an hour and a half past closing time (which I didn’t realize). Paul, his wife, and their cat are all awesome. I really don’t know of any reason why you would buy anything bicycle related from anywhere else. I hope this shop stays around for decades to come.

Awesome bike store the owner and his wife are friendly and have fast service. I left my lock there one afternoon By accident and sure enough I came by the next day and it was at the front counter waiting for me.

Fabulous bike shop to visit for repairs. Paul and the family are so friendly and helpful. They have helped me out with my bike many times with great services. They have nice MTB and Road bikes at the shop for purchases also. You’ll find the best at Bicycle Nerd!

I decided to try out Bicycle Nerd for my first time the other week… And I do not regret it one bit! I study Economics and when I see a small business… I usually try to shop there first to show my support for small local businesses! I walked right in and was greeted by whom I believe was the owner of the shop, his name was Paul. I asked Paul If I could drop off my bike for some maintenance. He said that’s fine and that he had a deal for an all around bike maintenance package for 25 bucks! That’s a steal!!! After hearing how inexpensive my bike’s maintenance was going to be, I decide to buy a new saddle and some new lights for my Giant Mtb. Take note small businesses and big retailers: if you’re nice to customers and provide excellent service… Customers are going to return seeking your goods and services! It’s that simple! Great experience and I will be doing business again with them!

A small shop at the R/​R bend on L.A. Ave, but the owner (Paul) does his best to give the customer top notch service. Better yet, Paul is a devoted rider and he knows bikes better than most. If he doesn’t have what you need he’ll get it, and his prices for service/​parts are very competitive. You get one-​on-​one service from someone who knows bikes and bike riding.

I was on the hunt for a pro scooter for my 14 year old for Christmas and Bicycle Nerd was the answer for me! Though their selection of scooters is small, they offer a good selection of parts to create a custom scooter, and also offer custom scooters that can be ordered, and lots of choices are available really quick. The owner was so helpful and worked exactly in my desired price range, never trying to sell me something more expensive. He was super patient with me as I considered my options available. Plus he kindly offered that if parts are loose or need tweaking in the future, to come on in, and he’ll take care of it. I’ll definitely go back.

Have not seen this shop on LA ave before. 7pm on a Friday night and need a tire tube. Saw the shop, lights were on. We stopped and even though they were closed
they greeted us warmly and were happy to help us out. Changed the tube for us in no time. They have some super COOL bikes in that place.
I got my eye on a sweet bike there, actually a couple i really liked. The prices seemed super reasonable too.
Definitely go check it out!!!
