Salon Blondies

Anna at Salon Blondie’s gave me the prettiest color and most precise haircut I have ever had! Plus, both she and Brandi and super smart and funny. What a great experience! I’ll be back!

I booked an appointment with Elvi on an online connection site for businesses in Silverton about a week or so before my scheduled time. When the day came, I went over and told a confused lady at the front desk that I was here for my appt. She replied that she didn’t see a booking and asked me if I was sure I had the right day. When I assured her I did, she called Elvi. Elvi seemed to be confused because the lady had to repeat my name twice and then gave some excuse about a mixed up schedule. When the lady got off the phone she said Elvi was on her way to the Oktoberfest and would I like to reschedule. Uh no. Not only did she dismiss me, she also dismissed my sister who was coming in after. I also never received an apology or anything from her. Horrible customer service!

I wanted to use local vendors as much as possible for my wedding, so I decided to use Salon Blondies. My stylist was Elvi.
I would give 5 stars for the job that Elvi did — my hair and make-​up looked great and exactly what I wanted. She even gave me tips on minor changes if I wanted it more authentically 20’s style.
I took a star off because the company policies need to be explained better. I originally called and asked about 5 people and said I needed to leave by 11 am to stay on schedule. I was told 2 stylists could have us in at 9 am and out by 11 am. When I called to do the final confirmation, we had 4 people who wanted to get their hair done and I was the only make-​up. The business never told me that 5 people is the minimum for 2 stylists and they changed my appointment to end at noon. When I came to do my trial run on my hair is when I found out we wouldn’t be done until noon. One person was on the fence about coming in, so we ended up only doing 3 girls. Obviously for a wedding timeline having a vendor change the schedule by an hour without mentioning it is a bit of a crisis.
Elvi saved the day by agreeing to come in 30 minutes early to get started and had us out of there shortly after 11 am. I highly recommend her — she was great to work with and took a situation that could have been very bad and helped us find a work around.
