A cool concept for sure. Though I can’t stand coffee, I give it props for being a clever means of blending the social love of coffee and ink in a mall setting. The selection of comics isn’t much. Mostly assorted trade paperbacks and back issues(surprisingly they stock a lot of the late 80s to mid 90s Marvel titles that most shops have long since surplussed). They even have markers for the infamous Marvel 2099 run and that ain’t a bad thing; I personally was a fan of that series in the 1990s when words like Cyberspace and World Wide Web and Virtual Reality were used to describe the«internet». I didn’t see much in terms of current issues. The staff was friendly, both people working greeted me and offered help. It is a welcoming environment. I give it an «A-OK» rating simply because the selection was very limited. And to find anything you REALLY want would be fairly rare. I’d utilize it more as a browse and find a surprise kind of store. But, again, the idea of creating a haven for those who want to indulge their love of Ghost Rider and a Mocha is a great idea. And being in a mall. I was ecstatic to find a comic shop in a mall again. I grew up and remember comic and card stores in nearly every mall one came across. Props to Narrow Escape for moving the mall based comic stop from Extinct to Endangered Species. If you’re in the mall, give this place a go. You might be one of the lucky few who digs that they sell packs of Power Rangers Pogs. I certainly did.
