We’ve tried so many times to like Manny & Olga’s, but have had too many problems with orders that either take way too long, or are incorrect… or both, as was the case last night. We ordered a pizza and a sub online a little before 7:30, and were given an estimate of 45 minutes. The food finally came at 9:05 — cold, of course. We opened the box to find that instead of green peppers, the pizza was covered in pepperoni… Good thing no one in our house is a vegetarian, because after waiting almost 2 hours, we were eating it, no matter what. We called and they offered to remake the pizza, or a credit for next time, but we asked for a refund instead — I don’t think there will be a «next time.» The food always tastes fine, but this is the third or fourth time we have had problems with our order.

One last attempt to let them get an order done right. We ordered calzones, a cheese steak and a wrap. The food isn’t the best: bland and fried food. It’s what you expect from them. But the orders are never done correctly. We ordered the cheese steak with no mushrooms or onions and found them. In the process of pulling these out from the meat we also found paper, probably from the lone, sad slice of provolone. Seriously, paper… Cooked into my sandwich. Welp, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. We’ll never order from here again.

I’m sitting in my bed enjoying a pellegrino for dinner. I waited 1.5 hrs for my pizzaand told them forget it. The driver has been driving around my apartment complex for 46 minutes and can’t find me. He claims it doesn’t show up on his gps.

The food is so good. I love the hours on top of the food. I continue to order from here for the past year that I’ve lived in Montgomery County

This place is solidly mediocre. I’ve ordered here a few times, because it’s often the only late-night delivery option in Silver Spring. You want pizza at 10 p.m. This will do. The other night I ordered a Greek salad and was disappointed to find that it didn’t come with olives or cucumbers. It was just lettuce, onions, tomatoes and feta. Bummer. It looked pretty meh, but tasted fine. The chicken fingers looked pretty miserable, but were also fine. Including a 20% tip, I paid nearly $ 20 and was so disappointed with what I got. Lesson learned. Next time, I’m either sticking with pizza or eating stale crackers and a can of soup.

I dine out, order online, cook indoors and grill outdoors. I’m not a food snob. If I were, I would never bother to order online from here or waste my time to educate those who are inquiring Manny & Olga’s delivery service in Silver Spring, Md.(off of Georgia avenue). Sadly, this food delivery business is hit or miss with food temperature. The prices are ridiculous– this is not California, people. Delivery time is as promised, quality of food is 3 star(which is more than fine for take out). But what taints Manny’s and olgas are their fees, over-prices and temperature of their food upon delivery. There are many, many places other than this establishment to order a sub, pizza, etc which will crush their fees and prices, match their delivery time-and more importantly, deliver the food at a reasonably hot temperature, not lukewarm which has been the case. Go ahead and roll the dice on this one.

I have to admit that at first I was quite smitten with this place because I absolutely loved the lasagna calzone, onion rings, steak hoagie, and a gyro & fries. But my feelings for this place waned a lot once I began to sample other menu items: the hamburger is tasteless, the lasagna was old & soggy, the veal parm is not fit for human consumption, the reuben is dry and disgusting, and the Greek and steak wraps are soggy and bland. The Italian dressing they provide with the Greek salad is ridiculously spicy, and ruins the overall taste of the salad. I only order from them because they are the only restaurant nearby that offers a diverse menu & delivers late. I have learned my lessons, so I only order steak hoagies, gyros & fries, onion rings, lasagna calzones and soft drinks. I avoid everything else on the menu like the plague.

I recently started working in this area and ordered a steak n cheese and fries. It was so disappointing! I have ordered a Steak n Cheese from many different types of restaurants and the meat is usually falling out– this had more bread than meat. The fries were a bit soggy BUT I kind of expected that since I had it delivered. On a good note, they said 45 minutes for delivery and came within 35 so that definitely saved some crunch in my fries.

Probably the most over priced food that almost made me sick ice ever eaten… also the people are just so rude. Why does a gyro take 45 minutes anyways? And the pizza seemed over cooked. Never again

I ordered a quick sandwich via their web interface and it was delivered promptly. As ordered. Nothing terribly special, but it was what I wanted and it hit the spot. And because it wasn’t a pizza, I didn’t have the carb crash in the afternoon.

We pick up rather than have it delivered. Very unprofessional atmopsphere and inattentive staff. We ordered a large, ½ Manny’ Meat Supreme and ½ Greek. The meat eater hates olives. The menu did not say olives were part of the meat package… but for us they were. One of the worst pizzas in a long time. So much for going with the local mom n pop shop, it’s back to Papa John across the street.

Just got pizza which was great and tried a veggie calzone for the first time, was not impressed, and a Greek salad. The Greek salad was actually really good, they loaded it with feta and kalamata olives. The service is not so great, I tried ordering online but the coupons online didn’t calculate well(they had one for a free Greek salad with purchase of pizza but then charge you 8.99 for the salad and only take off 6.99 of that at checkout), so I called the store. I specifically requested pepporcinis on the salad and they left them off. But overall the food is good and delivery is fast. Will order again :)

This manny and Olgas is terrible! I wonder if it is owned by the same people who own the one by 16th st which has really good food and service. Quality was bad, I had asked for extra tzatziki sauce and it tasted sour so you can imagine how long it has been stored for. The pizza we got was also horrible. The pita bread was hard, the meat tasted old. I am so disappointed but glad I learned my lesson.

We tried Manny and Olga’s in Bethesda and decided to try this one after moving to the area. We were happy with the meal. The pizza was good. The sub was great. The salad was fresh. Delivery came on time.

When we do pizza delivery we use this Manny & Olga’s(if we pick up we go to Ben Yehuda or Stained Glass Pub). We’ve never been disappointed with the delivery or the pizza. They are always well within the time-frame they give us when we call. The pizza is decent, better than most chains. Could be a little hotter but that’s pretty much true of all delivery food. When we recently ordered for out-of-town guests’ sons they requested the«meat-eaters» and they declared it was the best pizza they’d ever eaten. And the Greek salad is good, surprisingly good – Romaine, olives, feta, tomatoes(tomatoes not so good), and a very tasty vinagrette dressing served on the side. As an added bonus if the chain’s CEO has a political agenda, I don’t know what it is, and I don’t want to know.

This pizza is just okaaaay. We barely picked at it after it was delivered, despite being famished. The next day, however, I doctored it significantly, adding more sauce, cheese, and toppings, then re-baked it for a bit to crisp the crust. Much more palatable, but not worth ordering again.

Dear Bobby A., You might want to check on what your manager Noël is doing to your business. I placed an order on 10÷5÷2012 and it was a horrible experience. I never got an order confirmation via e-mail, the order took over an hour to arrive, and something was missing from the order. On-line it shows«sauce» with the chicken kabob. When I called to explain that no sauce came with the order I was told rather unceremoniously that the kebob did not come with sauce. What followed was nothing short of a language barrier. The first gentlemen said I could get a credit on my next order but failed to explain how they would not it was me. I asked to speak to the manager and basically got the same around. I don’t need to be insulted by someone I pay money to so I will take my money elsewhere in the future. You Lose! Note: Check the two latest reviews for 2012. Customer service is non existent. Businesses need to learn WE the consumers pay their salaries. Without us they have NO job.

I’ve heard a lot about Manny & Olga’s pizza over the years, but never had an opportunity to try em’ out. But thanks to Living Social, I can now understand what all the hoopla was all about. I ordered my pizza online so I didn’t really have to deal with much customer service for this transaction. I ordered the Supreme, which included Pepperoni, Ground Beef, Onions, Green Peppers, and Mushrooms. I figured it was a pizza type that could be full-proof; meaning if the sauce or crust isn’t to my liking maybe the toppings could compensate. Yeah, I know. I’m lowering my standards! But I’ve never eaten here before so I didn’t know what to expect. The pizza was ready pretty quickly, although the staff there didn’t give me the courtesy of showing me the pizza to make sure everything was right before I left. So, I pried open the box and gave a thumbs up approval to what I’ve quickly seen. All I can say from the pizza was that it was very tasty and fresh! In fact, it was quickly devoured within minutes from the time we rushed home through traffic back to Frederick. What I liked the most about the pie was the crust. It had a light taste but was thick enough for all the toppings. The sauce wasn’t too sweet nor did it have an acid/metallic taste like putting your tongue on a 9-volt battery, which is a problem I have with most pizza places in the Washington region. Overall, I was very satisfied with Manny & Olga’s. Definitely recommended!

First time ordering pizza from Manny and Olga’s and I was HIGHLY disappointed! I ordered a med pie w/pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was dry, and not very flavorful. The buffalo wings lacked flavor, spice, taste and just were plain bad. I will not be ordering from M & G’s again. I have some advice for anyone looking to buy pizza from them, order from someplace else. This Pizza sucked… Oh and by the way they forgot the one soda I ordered too. Water and pizza just dont mix.

This is our go to Pizza delivery option. Generally speaking they are fairly prompt and they’ve never been late, although they”ve occasionally got our order slightly wrong, but nothing terrible. The delivery people are always friendly and pleasant. I also like this option rather than some of the other pizza delivery places because they do salads and other options, which is great because whilst my husband has a pizza I can pretend to be healthy by supplementing it with a salad, I normally get the Greek salad with chicken which is tasty. The pizzas are good, we always order the thin crust option(and almost always get it), for a lighter junk food experience. Our favorite specialty pizza is Grandma’s White which has Spinach, Tomatoes, Chicken, Feta, Mozzarella & Garlic. Yum. Really solid pizza, better than the other options we’ve tried in the area and certainly better than Pizza Hut, Papa Johns or Dominoes.
