There food is great. There staff is horrible. Disrespectful. They try to tell you how to order.

The food is good and a good price. The workers all attentive and fast. Not the best Latin food in the area but it has good prices and everyone is helpful.

The food here is always consistently good and fresh and really worth the price. Has to be one of my fav places for authentic Mexican ad Salvadorian food. The service is fast and friendly!

It may have good food but doesn’t mean nothing if this place has absolutely terrible service

My family and I came here for lunch one day. We order three Beef Soup«sope de res» the taste was good but unlike the other restaurants in the area that serve the same they don’t come with rice or tortilla on the side. When we asked for a side order of rice and 2 tortillas the waiter said ok. He brought us the food and gave us 5 tortillas on the side we thought that was nice. Time to pay and my husband didn’t look at the check just handed him the card when we walked out I looked and they had charged us $ 15 for the side of rice and 5 torilllas! Wtf? That’s the price of the soup! I sore I wouldn’t go back. We have been ordering pupusas to go for a while now always good, but today when I ordered I also ordered«chicharones with yuca» I asked how much it was $ 7.95 when I came home with our order to my suprise the yuca and chicharones had 4 tiny pieces of chicharones and a container of yuca. So basically I paid $ 8 for yuca!!! I called to let them know how disappointed I was and if this was a mistake and the man on the phone said that it’s not all yuca and that’s the way the order is. He was very rude I asked to speak to the manager. Shocker he was the manager! He said«sorry you feel that way, but that is how the order comes!» I told him I thought it was a ripoff! My family and I will never order from here again. Seems like since they aren’t that busy anymore they rather over charge customers and they don’t care about customer service at all!

I have only dine-in once about 3 years ago. The food was actually great and the waiter was very nice. He recognized my then boyfriend. I live walking distance from here and we order carry-out frequently. The carne asada is not impressive. Lacks some favor. The pupusas are good. And the fish is actually the . The waiters and employees are very welcoming. They now sell(I don’t know how to sell that word) hot drink made of elote. The ONLY little thing is that it’s on a small cup for $ 3. It’s good tho. On the weekends up the street in the Hispanic grocery store they sell the bigger side for $ 2. Been trying to dine-in to see if this place can win me over.

This place was recommended by a friend, who lives in the area, and we’ve never had Salvadoran food, to our knowledge, so we were excited to eat here. They also had a large selection of Mexican food. The service was friendly enough and the décor was cheerful. We ordered about 5 different pupusas between the 3 of us, and the corn was the favorite of the table. The guacamole dip with deep fried chips were pretty tasty. My salad in a tortilla shell was lack-luster. The food is pretty heavy and if that is what you are looking for, this place is for you. Maybe I’m not used to a heavy stomach, and that could be just me? I would give 3.5 stars if I could.

This place is amazing! Every single plate I have ordered here has met my expectations! The Especial Doña Reina and Especial Intibuca are definitely my top favorites! Their waiter is so nice and funny he definitely made our dinner pleasant.

This is an update on my review The place is getting bad now I been here many time usually for carryout but they not what they use to be. My boyfriend would order on the phone to talk with someone to place an order, they are really rude on the phone and in person the boss man is the main one who rude they only want ur money and not if ur satisfied. also when u have a question on ur order they would hang up on you. This didn’t happen one time but three times. The waiter and waitress are the only kind one but duh they have to be for TIPS… I’m just saying there food are good but I wouldn’t come back here ANYMORE

I liked the pork pupusa here, but the salsa was watery, the tamale was mostly corn and potato(very little meat), the rice was oily, and my husband’s steak wasn’t all that good. The kids meals are all french fries and burgers/nuggets/hot dogs. Not a great Mexican or Salvadoran experience. The slaw was pretty good. The kids liked the fish tank with Nemo fish in it.

Really friendly service, huge menu and good food that won’t break the bank. The Unilocal 15% discount was a great bonus since our senior neighbor was treating us. Thanks!

My husband introduced me to this place 8 years ago on our second date. He is Salvadoran and insisted that I try pupusas for the first time. I loved them! The pupusas here are stuffed with cheese and the curtido and salsa taste very fresh. We have eaten pupusas at LOTS of places in the last 8 years, but no one makes them as well as this place(shhh…don’t tell my mother in law I said that)! The service has been amazing every time we go there. The servers are attentive and polite. The restaurant always looks clean and presentable, including the bathrooms. There are not many places where the service and food are consistently great. I highly recommend this restaurant! Side note: their plantains, horchata, and steak are also very good

Website says they deliver, menu says they deliver, Unilocal says they deliver. When you call, you get bassically a meh we dont feel like it today so no… Food tasted old, and to be homest a franchise like chipotle or baja fresh even has better food. Not authentic at all.

Awesome food. Very clean restaurant. Extremely authentic food. Got the caviche and pupusas. Pupusas were stuffed to the brim and only 2 bucks. Larger then most I have seen. The slaw was delicious. Not to tart and vinegary. Will be back for sure.

I used to like this place before they expanded with a additional room. They used to put more love into the food and I definitely miss that! I have had times where the food is really good and then times when it’s mediocre. I have been there maybe twice in the past three years. More so, out of convenience. The staff is friendly. Good place for big groups.

Frankly, I’m a little upset that I’m not eating there right now. My wife and I started with Pupusa(pollo con queso), then got the Especial Doña Reina and Especial Intipuca, which I assume are Salvadoran Spanish for«Incredible Plates of Meat.» Hers had steak, sausage, and egg, and mine had skewered steak, chicken, and chorizo. All of it was fantastic. It seems very friendly, and family-friendly as well. We’ll be back soon.

This place is wonderfully authentic with the nicest staff you’ll ever experience. The food was absolutely delicious and you get a generous portion for each dish. Plus, there’s a great check-in deal! A must get is their Ensalada(punch with diced fruit). It’s like a vigin sangria! Very refreshing and delicious. I also had their Langosta Rellena/Stuffed Lobster, it was enough to share! So be sure to go hungry! Parking can be a little tough in the area as the parking lot is fairly small and street parking close to the restaurant is fairly limited.

Have been here twice. Nice mix of Tex-Mex and Salvadorian dishes. Best Dishes: –Papusas are great!(I actually preferred the smaller sized one to the large one) –Wings(i.e., chicken wings) were outstanding(done perfectly; crispy, but not dried out) Good Dishes: –Chicharron con yucca was a little hit-or-miss; was delicious the first time we had it; pork seemed a little smaller/harder/over-cooked the second time –The Salvadoran combo plate is a good dish; good value; lots of variety –Chef’s tacos combo — the lengua taco was outstanding; the beef taco was very good; the chicken taco was pretty flavorless and meh Meh Dishes: –Steak fajitas weren’t terribly impressive(flavor seemed off) –Pastelito de Carne — was fried and greasy and not that good. Good family/kids place. Service is decent and fairly quick. Price is moderate(if not high, consider the décor). We always over-order here… Décor is a little grimy/cheap feeling… lighting is sort of dim(this place is in a basement, of sorts). Plenty of parking in the nearby lot, and is free after 6pm.
