The General Tso’s Tofu is literally the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had in my life. Think lightly-seared snot balls. Horrifying.

My family enjoys getting take-out from this place because it’s quick and so close to home. Our go-to dishes are walnut shrimp, crispy beef, combination lo mein, eggplant with garlic sauce, and Chinese broccoli. On nights when we’re feeling a little fancier, we get the peking duck, which is pretty good too. Nothing super special about this place, but it’s always there for us on those lazy nights when we have that urge for Chinese food. And for that, I am grateful.

Came here for a post-Xmas family get together and our meal was served banquet style(9 courses). Overall, very good and authentic Cantonese food

I came here tonight to satisfy my crab Rangoon craving. Mission NOT accomplished. I was given crab rangoon… but empty crab rangoon. I wasnt even hopeful for crab. but didn’t expect the vast nothingness contained therein. So sad. This is our neighborhood Chinese BUT I’m not willing to risk paying for empty puffs again :(

Just came here for dinner with the fam, and I have to say it was pretty darn good. We all split one of the chef’s specials — walnut shrimp with mayonnaise sauce(also served with broccoli). I know what you’re thinking, mayonnaise sauce??? Gross! But it wasn’t. It wasn’t amazing, but it was pretty good, and the shrimp were big. I had the shrimp and scallop with hot garlic sauce and fried rice. And it was very good. I ate everything on the plate except the mushrooms(gross!!). The waitress was friendly, but not 100% helpful(maybe a bit of a language barrier). But it was all pretty good.

I like the dinner combos, it includes a spring roll and the food is tasty. I especially like the crispy shrimp.

I’m a regular here, and I have to say that the food is pretty consistent. I don’t love everything, but what they do an amazing job of is the salt and pepper shrimp. Yummm! It’s best the authentic way, with the shell and head on. Awesome!

Above average food. Good service. We’ve been there 6 – 7 times. Only complaint I have is that one night we saw a mouse run across the dining room! The crispy beef and chicken, Kung Pao chicken, Szechuan green beans, chicken in black bean sauce are our favs so far.

We were in the area and decided to check out this place tonight with the family. The waitresses/hostesses were super friendly and very sweet. One of my pet peeves is when waiters hound you for your order when you are very clearly still reading the menu. We had our 2 finicky children with us, so it took a few minutes to decide what we all wanted. I started feeling that panicked feeling you get when you feel rushed to order something, but looked over to see our waitress keeping an eye on our table and waiting for us to make up our minds. Panic averted. We settled on the pork pan-fried dumplings(my 5 year old’s perennial fave), chicken with cashew nuts, orange beef, side of fried rice, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup. The egg rolls were ok, nothing to rave about but everything else was really delicious. The dumplings and dipping sauce were so good, I was sad that we had promised them to our daughter as her entrée. She of course helped herself to a hearty helping of both the cashew chicken and the orange beef. :(Luckily, we still have plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to eat them tomorrow!

Fu Lin is one of the best if not the best Chinese I’ve had. My husband and I enjoy the freshness of the food as well as the flavor and quantity. We’ve tried their crispy beef(my favorite), broccoli in garlic sauce, cashew chicken, chicken lo mein, crab rangoon, etc. Never a bad meal. Anytime we want Chinese this place is our first choice. Only complaint is delivery is too long.

Whenever I happen to be in the area and am feeling some Asian fusion for lunch, I always find myself to eat here. Like all of the previous reviews, I also find the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. So far I have tried their crispy eggplant, orange chicken, egg drop soup and their fried rice and SOFAR, I can’t say that i’ve been disappointed. I also enjoy that they are open to not using MSG upon request. For a family owned restaurant in a fairly low-traffic shopping center, Fu Lin seems fairly inexpensive, efficient in service and tastes great in quality. I most definitely recommend this restaurant!

What a fantastic local Chinese restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating, seeking to meet your every need. The food is outstanding; the chef is very talented! For a Chinese place tucked in the corner of a strip mall, Fu Lin is Fu Great. If the dish you want is not on the menu the chef can probably make it, and make it well.

This is my family’s usual sunday dinner restaurant. It is a small family owned place with friendly service. We go here for lobster(thai.style). Also, their chicken with garlic is to die for!

I have to admit that the reason I tried this place is in itself embarrassing. A friend was supposed to have a birthday party there. After showing up and not seeing anyone, my wife and I realized that the party was the following week. Since we were there, we decided to stay and have dinner. The place was relatively empty and screams dive, but having friends vouch for it(and the wait staff serve us drinks) we were obligated to stay. We ordered the walnut shrimp and the roast duck. True Cantonese banquet foods. I will have to give them credit in that the food was very good. Truly tasty. I perused the menu and saw that they serve banquet style 10 course meals. Looking forward to going back for the birthday party to do the 10 course family style meal.

The food tastes great and reasonable. The staff is friendly. I like the fried Chilean sea bass with soy ginger garlic. The roasted duck is very good with crisp skin. Fried soft shell crab is not too salty. Delicious!

I really like Fulin, my fave is the spicy chicken but the last two times I went they have given me the worst quality chicken in 7 Years I’ve been there. I think The next time I go and the food sucks it will be my last! Other than that, the food is great, their service is awesome and the restaurant itself is really nice.

As another Unilocaler alluded to, it took a very long time for me to notice this restaurant that is minutes from my home. It’s tucked away in the corner of an unassuming shopping center. I usually get delivery, and it’s always so fast and friendly. My standard order is fa-do fish fillet, salt and pepper string beans, and some sort of chow fun. The fa-do fish fillet is delicious; they use fresh tasting white fish fillets and crisp vegetables like snow peas and lotus. The salt and pepper string beans are cooked like the salt and pepper shrimp and squid that people who frequent Chinese restaurants know and love; it’s battered, fried and mixed with salt and sliced jalapenos. The chow fun is fine, nothing groundbreaking but solid and a good counterpart to the other things I order.
