Clean, efficient, pretty polite, good service and offerings and easy to get in(even without an appointment). Not the best place I’ve ever been but I would certainly return.

I think this is the salon I went to a while back. There’s another by the same name across the street but I’m reviewing the one on the left if you’re on Georgia Ave facing north. While I don’t usually splurge on manicures/pedicures, my first few were a rare treat(somewhere else) so I decided to try this place since it was within walking distance. While the service was adequate, I did not feel nearly as pampered as I had at other locations. They barely spoke to me, I think they spoke to each other but in a language I did not understand. I felt tolerated instead of valued. I remember noticing a smudge on my big toe after I had gotten home. Not cool. That was my only time there. I didn’t see a point in going back. Next time, I’ll go to the salon farther up the street(20 min drive), where I felt pampered so much I even brought my daughter once.

This place is good for a cheap pedi but not relaxing at all. Instead of spa chairs they have a bench thing wrapped around the wall and covered with pleather. No ability to lean back you have to sit straight up. Maybe suitable if you’re under 5 foot.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. My last pedicure was almost three weeks ago, and the polish has held up perfectly. This place is clean and the staff are friendly and incredibly accommodating. This is now my go-ton place for a mani-pedi.

I went in for a pedicure and was told it would be $ 20.00. As she was working on my feet, the woman asked if I wanted my feet pumiced to which I responded yes. Much to my surprise, my bill was $ 25.00. Their rationale is that the pedicure does not include their the pumice treatment — that’s extra! I will not be going back to Fantasy Nails — I felt they were dishonest by not telling me upfront. There are other salons with better pedicures

Very pleasant experience. The $ 11.99 fill in special lured me in, the nail technician did a great job, quick and consistent.

This place is nice. I had a very relaxing deluxe spa pedicure. The polish looks great. The products they used seemed very good. The interior of the salon is nicer than most. No massaging chairs, though. I would give it 5 stars but it is only my first time, so I’m not sure yet whether they are consistently good.(There’s another salon across the street with the same name. I’m referring to the one next to Woodside Deli.)

Overall. That was my first and last time going. The lady came and proceeded to talk on her cell phone, while doing my pedicure. It got worse. She never got off her phone, she never buffed my nails, and skipped over toes and was really rough. I politely asked her if she was in a rush. She said no in the middle of her phone conversation. I became agitated and three minutes later she was putting polish on my toes !! Where was the massage, the cuticle care? Basically all I got was a foot soak and polish. The polish job was horrible. I finally had to speak up and tell her I was displeased and to show her the sloppy work she had done. She waved me off in total disrespect. After a few words I was back in the chair with a different technician who did enough of a decent job for me to calm down, but not enough for me to ever go back. First impression, was two thumbs down.

I went in for a gel mani and pedi. It was horrible. The lady had no idea how to do a gel mani! I had 3 people come try to «fix» it. I refused to pay for it so she took it out. I ended up spending 2hrs in there must of which was her removing the gel manicure she messed up! Horrible pedicure as well.

This was hands-down the worst gel manicure I’ve ever gotten in my life. The lady kept badgering me to pay an extra $ 10 to get the shellac gel manicure because apparently it’s easier to remove from your nails. I decided to go ahead and do it. She put a huge glob of nail polish on my thumb nail that I asked her to «fix» twice. That same night the gel started peeling off that nail and my index finger. I went back the next day for them to fix it. Within hours the nail polish started chipping off again. Since when does gel nail polish chip on the same day?! Save urself the time and trouble and go someplace else. P. S. The actual manicure was not up to par, the water was cold and the lady seemed like she’d rather be somewhere else.

This place was pretty nice, and better looking inside than I thought it would be from the outside. The woman I saw was sweet, and listened to what I wanted. I was able to walk in and get a pedicure and polish change with no wait. My nails chipped pretty fast, but I guess that’s to be expected with regular polish. For the pedicure, the water was hot(not too hot), and the chairs were comfortable and had an optional massage. There’s another place by the same name across the street. They’re owned by the same people.

I came here because it’s convenient and close to my house. After the last time I had my eyebrows done here, I will never come again. They are rude and don’t talk to you. Lack of customer service. I have weirdly shaped eyebrows and it definitely takes time to get it to be perfect. I had one person do one eyebrow and she left in a hurry to get home(I guess her shift had ended) and then someone else came and did the other eye. I left with two different looking eyebrows and they were rushing me to pay. Definitely the worse experience ever. I’m never going back there again.

So apparently my first pedi was done at the shop across the street with the same name? This place is the slightly less fancy little brother. Same level of service, though. But I’d rather get my free beverage!

I was serviced by technician a Technician named Tee. She was pleasant and good. I was surprised by the gel manicure price which was expensive $ 10 more than what I’m usually used to paying. Instead of wrapping my fingers they asked me to soak them which I heard that is not good. When I brought it she ignored me.

Ugh, this place! Sure, the special in the window looks good, but you are actually paying for a soak in luke warm water and a polish change. My nail tech made the lamest attempt at scrubbing my feet and completely skipped the massage during my pedicure. When it came to the manicure, I asked to not use the cuticle clippers, but she insisted. Again no massage, and I had to ask for lotion because my hands were so dry(which I put on myself). Never again. I have given this place two chances because friends said it was great. I I am willing to pay $ 5 – 10 more for a mani/pedi I enjoy.

I had a great mani here. The staff was warm and nice. The dyers barely worked but it was fine my nails dried quickly. It is 5 days later and I have no chipping and(i made it through the Thanksgiving dishes.) I would go back in the area. Nothing fancy but a good manicure.

Pedicure maybe, gel manicure heck no! So I had never noticed this shopping center before until my mother pointed out a healthy dog store in it. Saturday I decided to stop by the dog store to get some treats for my moms golden retriever pup. Why not kill two birds in one shopping center?! Against my better judgement I decided to stop at Fantasy Nails. :sigh: +1 pt — warm welcome when I walked in –1 pt — lady couldn’t find the match to my gel color for my pedicure 0 pt — my pedicure was just okay –1 pt — decided to get my eyebrows done too. I know, I was clearly a daredevil this day. I left and they looked the same as when I came. –1 pt — the lady didn’t bother ask me about extra coats, I always get 3 or 4 since I work a lot with my hands and don’t want to chip –1 pt — first chip that very same night, seriously?! I’ve never had gel polish chip any sooner than a week and a half

I wasn’t expecting an amazing pedicure from the reviews. But I didn’t expect the chairs to be so uncomfortable that I had trouble standing up(hard flat seats where you can’t really lean back if you want them to reach your feet). In addition, the technician first burned my feet with scalding water, then later rinsed them with icy cold water. In the middle, he practically bruised my shin trying to «massage» it. And when you’re done, don’t expect a fan or UV lights or even quick-dry spray to help your polish set — no, just pay your $ 20(I’ll admit that’s a good price) and leave. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

I love this spot! No matter which technician I’ve see they always give me the spa treatment. I come all the time and always have a great experience. The place is always clean and they make sure to use a different set of sterilized tools before starting on my feet.

I’ve gone here twice. My first experience was okay. I came with a friend to get a manipedi and everything seemed to be going well. I’ve seen better days, but it wasn’t a bad day for what we paid. Also, it was nice that the lady at least tried to start a conversation with my friend and I. My second experience was. yeah, not so good. I’ve had enough manicures in my life to know what a manicure should entail and that manicure was definitely missing some steps to it. My nails were also uneven and I had to re-file them when I got home. The lady also didn’t tell me there was going to be an extra charge for something. Oh yeah, and when is it appropriate for another random worker to start touching my hand and examining my nails when I don’t even know them? This place is not clean and doesn’t have a large selection of nail polish to choose from. Spend your money elsewhere.
