I’ve used Hal (on the recommendation of my realtor, Ben Holmes, who is excellent). He’s efficient, gets things done right, and is detail oriented. He has closed two sales for me and we are in the process of doing a third with him, and deciding on who to go with was a no-​brainer. We bought two other properties with other settlement agencies only because the seller required it and neither came close to Hal and his setup.

Hal just did the settlement for the purchase of our first home. I can’t say enough about how great he is and his willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of both parties. He is efficient and thorough and has a sense of humor; all important things. On top of all of this, Hal offers affordable and competitive prices. I will definitely refer friends and family to Hal and we will definitely use him again in the future.

In my business I deal with a lot of settlement attorneys. Hal is far and away the best I’ve ever dealt with. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and is also the least expensive. I know that when I refer a client to Hal I will get the title work quickly and if there are any issues he will let me know so there are no surprises. Hal does a lot of the work himself! Unlike a lot of attorneys who just conduct the settlement and delegate everything else. Unfortunately Hal doesn’t do closings in DC or Virginia so I can’t refer him all my business.
