Dilla Charles M Physical Therapist

Charles Dilla is a consummate professional and a fabulous physical therapist. My wife, who is a physician, had seen him after an ankle injury some years ago and recommended that I see him following knee surgery. I’m glad I took her advice.
The office is small, but really well run. I recommend him highly and without reservation.

I cannot say enough about Chuck Dilla. He is the fourth PT I have seen and the only one I will ever see again if I can help it. I’ve seen him for post-​shoulder surgery rehab (on both shoulders) and for knee problems.
1. He measured my shoulder mobility to get a baseline, then continued to measure it as we the rehab progressed. I can’t tell you how much this helped my motivation, especially since the process was pretty painful at times.
2. He explained everything to me using wall charts, drawings, analogies, etc. The guy has an impressive command of anatomy.
3. He worked with me on many of the exercises, manipulating my shoulder to make sure I’d get the most out of the work, unlike all the other PTs, who just handed me the equipment and let me do it myself.
4. He gave me specific exercises to do between visits and made me show him how I was doing them so he could correct any mistakes I was making.
5. He works with one patient at a time and gives his full attention.
6. His front office person, Sarah, is probably the best I’ve ever met. She handled any issues with the insurance company very efficiently.
He’s a true professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs PT.

I am now using Charles Dilla for the third time (for unrelated problems — shoulder pull from a sports injury, heel problem, and now a back problem). In each case Charles Dilla has solved (or in the case of my back problem — is solving) the problem. He and his office staff are down to earth, friendly, practical, experienced, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
