A large fairly comfortable waiting room might give you the impression that your wait will be longer then you’d like. However, you are normally taken in to either have your glassed fitted or seen by the doctor soon after you get there. Which might be a good thing if you had to put money in the meter for parking. Why you’d use a metered space is beyond me though because if you can’t find a free spot right out front — seek one in the back! I’ve never had any issues with any staff at this place and my questions and concerns were always answered honestly — I think it’s the only place I’ve trusted enough to have them select my next pair of glasses. And speaking of selection — you’d think being in a small town, selection would also be small, but they have one of the largest selections I’ve seen — certainly the largest I need! They also carry a large selection of safety glasses for work and some amazing sunglasses — I purchased a pair of Puma prescription, bifocal, transitions today(6−4−13) amazing price too! Price might seem expensive compared to all the TV commercials, but I believe the reason mine are on the high side is because I normally end up looking best in some sort of designer frames — plus the fact I’m blind and need to spend extra money trying to make the lenses as light as possible while still meeting all my «other» requirements! It’s best to have an appointment, but for picking up glasses and/or contacts — you normally get there when you can. I’m sure if they had an opening for an exam and you walked in — they’d do their best to get you in for that as well. Good olé home town folks! Sure beats going into the city for less service just to try to save a buck! 6−4−13 — made an appointment two days ago and went today. Doctor was great and John — the guy who fits your glasses was as always right on with everything. Sue was also very helpful and this place is for sure the only place I want to go for my eye exams and eye wear! I got three pair — regular glasses, safety glasses and sunglasses — can’t wait to get them all now! Bumping this up to the 5 stars it deserves!
