What an amazing shop. Mark, Comino and crew have some of the best customer service I’ve EVER experienced, ANYWHERE. Their 24 hour turn-​a-​round time on repairs is a plus. Also, with their deep inventory, you can be assured they will have what you need, when you need it. Thank you for the stellar service, gentlemen!

Top quality shop through & through with very knowledgeable and helpful people who get the tough things done without the bs.
I’ve been here 4 or 5 times in the past year, mostly for advice which was solid and freely given without a sales hype.
But latest visit earns 5+ stars. I needed new pads for new Shimano 9020 brakes. I searched the internet in the US & UK & nothing. My LBS in San Diego — nothing.
I stop in here on Monday, tell them what I need, none are in stock (nobody stocks these) and the guy calls Shimano direct (not a rep) & orders them. and says they’ll be here in 3 – 4 days. They call me Wed (2 days) to pick them up. Unbelievable.

Amazing store, amazing service. We just moved into the area from a very cold climate. Over the years, our fitness level and biking fell to the wayside. Our current bikes and equipment were either still packed or unusable. We walked into the store and were assisted with what we needed at the time immediately. Very knowledgeable and not pushy. A lot of times shop owners that deal with specialized products and services almost become too «brilliant» for their own good. That can lead to intimidation and potentially losing a customer who doesn’t think they are up for the sport because they don’t know enough. I already know there’s a lot I need to learn about cycling and this shop doesn’t remind me of this fact. They were there to assist and educate me without making me feel stupid. I was given maps of SV and invited to the CCCC evening rides. I might even go to one once I build my strength and confidence back up. Our bikes were fixed according to the specifications that we needed at the time. They turned around our bike within 24 hours. You can’t ask for more than that. Overall, I was very impressed with the suggestions, products and services they provide. I will be back.

Super knowledgeable, friendly and non-​pushy staff /​ownership. It’s a fair deal all the way around. Wide selection of everything you’ll need, both beginner and advanced. Give them a visit and you’ll be glad you did!

I had a great experience at Sun ‘N Spokes. I was looking for a good quality, casual riding bicycle. Mark was very helpful. He suggested a couple different bikes, let me look and take a test ride. I found what I liked at a decent price and had great customer service. I love that this place is locally owned too! Bravo!

Excellent customer service — very friendly. I like that the guys don’t push merchandise on me when I visit. While they do suggest services for my bike, they are not pushy about it and in my opinion, are simply providing me options. Most of the suggestions they’ve provided ended up saving me ca$h in the long run, so I appreciate their input.
Buy a bike from them and they will take care of you. For that matter, they will take care of you even if you didn’t buy your bike from them. I moved here with an old beater mountain bike and they fixed it proper when needed. With their help I was able to extend the life of that bike.
Their commitment to the community is commendable. They sponsor the local high school cycling program, which provides local youth exposure to cycling. And yes, them sponsoring cycling efforts in the community may be a way of bringing them business, but isn’t that the goal of a business — to grow? Kudos to them for helping the community and being good business folk.
I definitely recommend Sun ‘N Spokes for all of your cycling and spoked-​wheel needs.

All of the staff at Sun ‘N Spokes are knowledgeable, friendly and masters of the art of customer service.
They are under new ownership (for 1 year) and the differences between the old management and the new is night and day.
They are actively involved in the community and are always willing to lend a helping hand either it be a tube, Co2, or just expert advice.
The shop has been redesigned inside and has a fresh look that makes product easier to find which is a double edged sword because you’ll want to buy more.
If you are in town and need to have your bike checked out, need information about rides, or just need to pick up a few odds and ends you can do them all at Sun ‘N Spokes!
