This hotel is a hidden treasure! I stayed here twice. The first time, I was traveling with my pets and the second time with my husband. Both times went beyond my expectations. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. From the moment you check-in you feel like a valued guest. Check-in was a breeze. The room was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, comfy, quiet, and safe. The amenities were top notch. A large flat screen tv with lots of channels, not just sports or news. The shampoo and conditioner are the kind you want to take home and use. Soap and lotion were nice too. And the hairdryer had POWER! And there is free wi-fi in your room. There is a small kitchen, with free coffee, and a little sitting type room giving you a more spacious room. In the evenings they have happy hour… wine, beer, soft drinks, popcorn, nachos, and a fireplace to sit next to. The free breakfast in the morning had lots of choices and was delicious! I truly recommend staying here.

I travel to Sierra Vista frequently and always stay at this hotel. Fantastic rates, clean rooms, and many amenities. Very accommodating for pet owners. The manager and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Directly outside main gate and within walking distance of several decent restaurants.

This place is a steal! Breakfast included, little kitchen with stove, dinnerware and some pots and pans. Plenty of towels. Clean. 2 free draft beers every night. One of the lowest pet fees. Most importantly, Very polite and friendly housekeepers(always smile and say hi when you are near)! If I had one recommendation for the owner, it would be to include the pet fee in the hotel room price, like LA Quinta does. Military pet owners might be even more inclined to stay there because then they wouldn’t have to pay the separate pet fee out of pocket. Just keep the total room charge below the PCSTLE reimbursement limit($ 83 for me)!

The people here are awesome! Friendly and very professional. The rooms are surprisingly large with a small kitchenette, a sitting area and the bed. The range even has two burners. The rooms are clean and furnished decently for the price range of the hotel. This hotel does have a laundry room on the second floor with coin operated machines. Some downsides were the size of the fridge it’s about the size of a mini fridge and the Internet. The rooms have wifi and Ethernet but you are limited to 4gbs a day and certain streaming websites are blocked. This place is a great place for an extended stay business trip.

Outstanding customer service!!! Thanks to Krystana and Nancy who made our stay welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast is free and there is a variety of breakfast items to choose from. You also receive one complimentary drink(alcohol, soda, or water) every night of your stay from 4:30 pm to 9 pm. Rooms were clean and maids were very polite. Pool and gym were open 24 hours. Thanks again to the staff of Gateway Studios Suites. We HIGHLYRECOMMEND this place and we’ll be returning soon. V/r Chris San Diego

We decided to stay at the Gateway Studio Suites for New Year’s Eve since we have always had such great service there. Well, once again they went above and beyond. Simon made sure to notate that we wanted the other couple that we were hanging out with for NYE had a room close to us. I am a wedding officiant and was called on NYE to do a last minute ceremony. The couple just got their marriage license that day and didn’t know where to hold the ceremony. I asked Simon at the desk if there was any way we could a very small ceremony in front of their beautiful fireplace in the lobby around 6PM. He said absolutely. Simon has been gracious and professional every time that we have stayed at Gateway Studio Suites. He is just great at his job and he seems to enjoy what he does. About 5:15 we get a call asking how we would like the area set up. When we came out to check the area Nancy Smylie(Simon was off duty at this time) had pulled the couches out, was setting up plants to frame the fireplace, had a bottle of wine and glasses for the bride and groom. She was just amazingly sweet, thoughtful and helpful. She took pictures of the very small ceremony and was so hospitable to all of us. Absolutely amazing service every time we stay there. No wonder we stay there so much and refer as many people as we can. The experience there is so uniquelly filled with great customer service and a smile. The rooms are great and the 24 hour jacuzzi is a hit with us as well.

This hotel is great. I came into town for a few weeks for training at Ft. Huachuca and stayed here during my time. Every afternoon/evening there is a complimentary beer with chips and salsa or some other form of snack. The breakfast setup is also good and varies daily. The rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, and there is a kitchenette with dishes provided in each room. Fortunately, I will not be returning to Sierra Vista, but if I had to I would stay here again!

Overall this is a very decent hotel. The property seems pretty new and is kept very clean. I even came back to my room one day when the maid was still there and was on her hands and knees scrubbing the tile floor near the bathroom. I was impressed. The gym is small but all of the cardio machines work properly. That seems like a rarity these days. The number of freebies are pretty top notch as well. The breakfast is standard with most hot and cold items you see at other hotels. All I have to complain about is the agonizingly slow toaster. How petty is that? Also, there are always bowls of fresh fruit available in the lobby all day and in the evening they open up four beer taps for the guests to have a beer for free. You don’t see that at most places. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms but you are limited to 4GHZ per day. Look for a room elsewhere if you have to feed a YouPorn addiction. They have a laundry room but they use pay machines. Maybe that is how they pay for the beer. I guess I don’t mind paying for laundry as long as I get free brewskis!
