My wife and I have dined here many times. The food and service is consistently great. I recommend the Roti, summer rolls, dumplings for apps and salmon sunset, asian snapper, pineapple shrimp fried rice for entrees. FInish off with mango and sticky rice. Love this place and you will too.

Didn’t love the soup because it was hard to eat with a ton of large pieces of onion in it. Also, there were very few shrimp in the Pad Thai and panang curry. The size of the Thai dumplings order was too few for the price. We were disappointed.

This place is solid and would surely have a great deal of business if they were in a better location — and not just their current location, but also another neighborhood. Shrub Oak does not scream as the type of place that openly welcomes a Thai restaurant that offers food other than Italian, and I think this works to the advantage of folks like myself, who do not have to wait long for a delicious meal. The food is not out of this world, but it is definitely good. Good enough to want to come back, and bring others here. In fact, great date spit if you have a significant other that eats more than Italian food — not as easy as would think around here. I recommend some of their young coconut drinks, they are truly amazing, and everyone should try it, along with the mermaid puffs. Also, just like in any place that is worthwhile, speak to your waiter and ask if things can be made a little more or less spicy to add the flavor you want!

It was just ok. Not worth the out of the way drive. The curry puffs and spring rolls were good.

Highly mediocre. I had the vegetarian duck with basil. It was adequate but nothing special. Two others in our party felt similarly about their dishes. The fourth was quite happy, though.

This place is a hidden gem. Their food is delicious and the ingredients are very fresh, and the menu has a good variety of choices. Also, the staff is very gracious. Try the avocado salad and the peanut chicken — my favorites, but everything is great. My husband had the salmon last night and loved it. Prices are reasonable as well. Wish we had tried this place sooner!

Everything from our server Justin to every last bite of food was great. I have lived in Yorktown my whole life and never knew about this gem. My boyfriend and I shared the traditional fried rice(amazing), roti chanal(best thing ever– extra pancakes), Tom yum soup(OMG I loved this), and curry puffs– mostly because of all the Unilocal reviews that raved about the but that was my least favorite, kind of doughy. The cucumber sauce that it came with however was ONPOINT. All in all, a reasonably priced, delicious, wonderful meal with great service to boot. We will certainly be back!

Lunch with a friend. The place was jumpin on a weekday at 1:30pm. The food was great and was delivered quickly. I’ll be sure to return. Try the appetizer, Bangkok Crispy. It’s great!

Great place! Lots of vegetarian options. The atmosphere is cute, looks nothing like the old pizzeria that used to be there. They are also really fast if you decide to order in and all of their curries are phenomenal.

I am going back for lunch today… in the rain. Every time I go I bring in a new lover pf Thai. They walk out raving. And going back, bringing in another liver of Thai.

We’ve been stopping here a lot lately for lunch, this place is a gem! Great lunch specials and everyone there is so nice. There hasn’t been one thing on the menu we have been disappointed in. Eat-in or take-out, this restaurant is definitely a winner.

I LOVETHISPLACE. Simple as that. The soup is to die for and I order it at least once a week. Tom Yum soup. Get it… if you enjoy that kind of soup of course. Their Green Curry Chicken is awesome as well. They are super friendly as well. I have never seen them in a bad mood both busy and quiet. From the Quinn’s

I would say this is probably THE best place to eat in the area. It’s a bit small inside but it does have awesome food! If you love Tai food this is a hidden gem!!!

Bangkok Spice is a Thai staple for us in the area. The menu is well rounded and service is very attentive.

3.5 stars. Ordered food for takeout. Apps were solid– spring rolls and dumplings. The sauce with the spring rolls was a bit lacking in flavor though. My pad see ew with tofu hit the spot but it was missing that little extra something to take it to the next level. Unfortunately my husband’s dish was very bland and didn’t have any hint of spice despite the«pepper» rating next to it on the menu. We’ll go again and try some more dishes but I think we’ll also be heading back to our favorite Thai spot in Greenwich, CT when the craving really hits.

Ok I tried 3 appetizers None of which would make me want more The dumplings were rubbery and flavorless, even the dipping sauce was bland. The Satay again no flavor not even in the peanut sauce The crispy dumplings looked beautiful but again no flavor! I loved the presentation on the skewers, perhaps the lettuce should have been shredded or omitted and a typical sweet chili sauce was the only flavor present Tom Kha soup was nice, full bodied lime and coconut flavors with thin slices chicken breast. Probably the only dish I would ever order again from here. Basil duck was very flat in taste aside from the tender duck with its natural flavors, all of the vegetables were overcooked, very little italian basil and no presence of Thai basil. No basil flavor in this dish at all. and I have never had a dish from any culture use bell pepper seeds as an ingredient, yes they did, the dish was full of them! Heck why not they have no flavor just like the rest of the food, so why not add it! Enjoy this place all you people who gave 4 and 5 star reviews you probably loved Gino’s also!

Decided to try this place after visiting a doctor in the area. Read the Unilocal reviews and figured it sounded good, well it was GREAT! Everything I had was fresh, authentic and delicious. The dumpling appetizer was wonderful, the Thai Iced Tea was the best I’d ever had and the seafood Bangkok Pad Thai was amazing. It’s a small place with plenty of seating inside and it appears to be family run. They seemed to know all the regulars, which is a good sign! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or to go back!

Authentic food. Small restaurant right in the neighborhood. I have eaten here a few times with my family and as always be sure to advise them of any peanut allergies if you have those concerns like we do for my son. Enjoy! Nearly everything tastes delightful. You won’t be disappointed.
