Nothing special, a wide variety of starch. Salad mostly iceberg lettuce. Stuffed mushrooms weren’t stuffed more like a small button mushroom with a dollop of nondescript crab stuff dumped on top.

Went to this new restaurant for the first and last time today. The lunch was actually good, however listening to the owner/cook in the kitchen yelling at his employees was very disturbing. Our waitress left in the middle of our meal in tears. Another employee kept apologizing for his behavior. Any establishment that treats their employees like this, will not last long in our area.

On North Main St. in the old Peppercorn’s, the restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. The service was attentive and the cook came out to ask for feedback. The menu is extensive, mostly standard pub food out of the freezer and into a deep fryer or from the fridge and assembled for the diner. There was little to suggest that there is much in the way of original cooking going on. However, what we had was well prepared and well presented. Hopefully, with some time there will be some more original cooking. In the meantime, it is the kind of safe, standard restaurant which can be found almost anywhere.
