I love this place. It’s the real deal, and the best place around if you’re looking for prog rock like I am. A CD and vinyl treasure trove if I’ve ever seen one. Rick also sells audio equipment, DVDs, rock t-shirts, etc.

I agree with Billy Joe J., adding, that if Quentin Tarantino owned a record/“media” store this would be it!

This place is a hodge podge of everything! A hoarder’s and treasure-seeker’s dream come true. Under the one roof here, they have among other trinkets and artifacts: The aforementioned records in the title(as in vinyl albums), audio cassettes, 8-tracks, video cassettes, dvds, cds, star wars figures, sports memorabilia(signed Damarcus Ware jersey, Barry Sanders mini helmet), vintage rock t-shirts(some look to be used and authentic) music memorabilia(a signed drum head from L.A. Guns was spotted among the clutter-as they are still moving in and unpacking loads of boxes). The prices here are reasonable. Cds mostly $ 5 each and 3 for $ 10. Who still listens to cds? This guy! I love cds! I like sitting in a comfortable chair and thumbing through the little booklet while I listen to the tunes, forget you! Rick’s is located in a large garage of a new shopping center whose tenants include a barber shop, and an intense gaming(like Dungeons and Dragons) looking shop, among a few other places. It’s right off Shreveport Barksdale Hwy and Dee Street, behind the delicious Chinese restaurant Ming Garden(my fave!!!) and the McDonald’s at the foot of the Shreveport Barksdale Bridge. They also buy and sell video games here as well! Check ‘em out! They are open 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 1pm to 6pm on Sundays.
