Good, tender, moist chicken at very good prices. However, I prefer Southern Classic Chicken for their more crispy crust and for their perfect seasoning with a little bit of spiciness. I don’t like the fries here at all. Sadly there aren’t many places to pick up fried chicken gizzards and Mr. Jims are excellent. When that particular craving hits me, I head to Mr. Jims. They also have fried livers.

Surprised at how good it was. Very well seasoned. Reasonable prices and very good. Better than Southern Classic or any other place in the area.

Chicken is a firm 4.5, rounded up to 5 stars since they didn’t dish up the fries until I was there to pick it up. Much better than Churches or Super One Food’s chicken. An 8-piece mixed came with rolls, family-size fries less than $ 3, jalepenos(not cooked), total cost a bit under $ 14. The sign says«Chicken and Seafood.» Sorry I should have gotten a menu too. It’s at the corner of Youree and Olive.
