I honestly wasn’t looking forward to going to the Corn Maze for a birthday party my son was invited to this year, October 2015. I had been twice before but it was in their early days of opening. There just weren’t many activities at that time. That has changed! Check out their website for a complete listing of all the activities they now have and I posted some pics as well. There is fun to be had for all ages. My 2 and 5 year olds both had a blast and were not ready to leave after being there for 4 hours. The birthday party package includes an indoor party area with pizza, Capri Suns, ice cream cups, ice cream sandwiches, serving and clean up of the food and the birthday cake you supply. They supply food for up to 15 people and additional food can be purchased. It includes unlimited use of all the rides and attractions that are currently going on such as the Pony Rides, Friendly Fire, Corn Cannons, Hay Ride, Corn Bin(like a giant sandbox for toddlers filled with dried corn kernals), Cow Train, Jumpy Thing, Barn Swing, Duck Races, Culvert Slide, etc. During the Fall Festival the Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, and the Flower Patch are also included but just the kids and not the chaperones get a pumpkin. The birthday pacages are available year round but only on Saturdays. I highly recommend a birthday there but not do much during the Fall festivities time. They just have too much going on and as a result it is unorganized and chaotic with misinformation. For example, being told that the pizza would not arrive for another 45 minutes(which is served at the beginning of the 1.5 hour allotted time slot) and to send guests out to enjoy the other activities, then the pizza arrives less than 10 minutes later and the host needs to quickly round up the party guests as the pizza is getting cold and your allotted time is ticking away. Another issue was the very young workers started handing out pizza to the adult chaperones before serving all the kids and running out of pizza. I have been told that at other times of the year there are not very many people there like the packed situation during the Fall and still lots of available activities. Just make sure to find out what current activities are available when you schedule.
