Hot fresh food always. Polite and quick paced employees. Speaker and microphones need work asap.

Coming from about 2 hours south, I’m used to Hardee’s as my «Happy Star» restaurant. The breakfast menu at Carl’s is lacking versus their sister restaurant, but the turkey burgers are DELICIOUS!!! Waffle fries are great too, and this restaurant is the cleanest in Shreveport. Stop here, its also the easternmost Carl’s. Head south on Mansfield or I-49 and you’re entering Hardee’s territory.

I’m not a burger lover. I usually get chicken or fish instead, but I am a changed woman. The 1⁄3 lb Tex Mex Bacon Thickburger is King! I have never finished an entire burger, but I ate every bite. It is AMAZING! They have a much better selection of sides than most burger joints, too. Hail, Carl’s Jr.

So, the All-Natural Original Burger is my new favorite burger ever. The fries are delicious as well. That is all I ever eat at Carl’s, so that’s all I can really say about that. One day I was given the All-Natural Swiss burger by mistake, and I didn’t like that burger. I don’t eat mushrooms at all. So I yanked them off. The Swiss cheese just wasn’t tasty. I wouldn’t recommend the Swiss burger, but I highly recommend the Original. Most of the time, these people are very nice. Good service. Clean inside and outside. Hopefully it will stay this way!

Most of the employees at this location are very nice and professional with service being speedy. The big exception is one of the managers who is a real argumentative jerk, a heavyset guy with whitish hair and usually a scruffy face that needs a shave. The restaurant is kept reasonably clean especially for being a fast food joint. I like their buns better than most burger places and in my opinion their beef has a better flavor than many of their competitors. I am not fond of their Original Six Dollar Thickburger. For whatever reason, they always put way too much mustard, ketchup, and mayo on it so that it’s a dripping sliding around mess to eat and whenever I try to get them to leave off a sauce or put a half portion of sauces on it, they always screw it up for some reason such as reduce EVERYTHING on the burger by half or just make it the same as always. But besides that, there are tastier selections to be had. For breakfast I usually get their Monster Biscuit. I don’t usually like biscuits, yeah, I know I’m weird, but I do like this one as the biscuit has a good flavor and tastes freshly made as they claim it to be. This sandwich is huge and very filling. It has a good layer of egg on it, sausage, and bacon, along with both Swiss and American cheese. Do not plan on needing anything else to eat. You will be too full. My favorite burger from here is one of their newer additions, the El Diablo. It actually has a spicy kick to it which is rare to find with a burger even when places make the ‘spicy’ claim. It has a habanero sauce, sliced jalapenos, jalapeño poppers, pepper-jack cheese, and bacon. I also like their Western Bacon Cheeseburger with its onion rings(eat it right away before they lose their crispiness) and a tasty bbq sauce that compliments it well. You can frequently find their coupons in the mail flyers but I recommend putting their app on your phone. You get points for ‘checking in’ when you are there but I can check in twice a day by driving by to and from work without pulling in. When you get enough points you can redeem them for free side items with any purchase or a buy one/get one free sandwich. The 1/3lb. Original Six Dollar Thickburger used to be free with points but now is just a bogo as well as the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star with Cheese, Monster Biscuit, and the Breakfast Burrito(any variety).

I frequented these in Cali and Old mexico. I just drove by this one and had to stop in to eat… This has to be the cleanest restaurant in town! They’ve got an Awesome menu, an endless variety of sandwiches. Prices are really fair. Staff is very friendly and served food at our table. drinks were refillable and a great selection. the Girl loved her salad and I am still savoring my «El Diablo» burger… it has to be the best burger EVER!

The all natural burger was excellent. The general manager, Victor, was not! A new employee just started and was on the register. Ms. S, the new employee, was wonderful and so sweet. The general manager was berating her and quite frankly he was an embarrassment. I felt horrible for the employee. As wonderful as the burger was, I will not be back due to his behavior.
