Baymont Inn And Suites Shreveport

Being in the travel industry for over 25yrs and staying at this hotel. I have to be honest I was not happy with the front desk, she could not answer simply questions do you movie channels or pay preview. No they don’t and she should have known the answer. The room was in much needed repairs and update. The carpet was pulled up and torn around the door and bathroom door and mold in the bathroom ceiling. I just couldn’t be comfortable and would not
Stay here again. The hotel didn’t feel clean to me. So I was grossed out!

One word: Disgusting! This was the dirtiest, smelliest, most gross place I have ever stayed in my life. And I REALLY am not exaggerating. This place is horrible.
Let’s start out with our room smelling like a dead hooker was under the bed. We asked to be moved and they took us to another room that appeared to have human snot (aka boogers) smeared on the wall near the back sliding door. There were stains all over the carpet and the bathrooms were old and smelly as well.
The pool was GREEN. So incredibly gross. Oh and to really top it off, there was a sand box for the kids to play in that had been taken over my feral cats. Lovely.
The free breakfast was cold and tasted horrible. We were supposed to stay for two nights but got the hell out of there as fast as we could the next morning.
DON’T STAY HERE! I know Shreveport isn’t the classiest place in the world, but there are much nicer hotels than this one. Pay the extra $ 20 per night to stay somewhere else. Trust me. It’s not worth it to stay here.
