We love this restaurant’s Pizza and Pasta. Toppings are generous and meat lovers pizza was very tasty! I liked their borscht soup– it was heart warming dish, and taste authentic too.

I went to Pizza Mia a couple night ago. It was great! The four of us had spaghetti and meatballs, a small pizza, a large Ceasar salad, and the stuffed mushrooms. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely go back again.

I visited Pizza Mia tonight and I can say I miss Vladimire!!! Its been a few years since I lived here and as I drove by I noticed the new windows new look of the place and thought I would go in and order a pizza and see Vladimire… I asked where he was and the lady said.“he no workey here no more… move away long time ago”. I found out the story on his daughter running the place for a few years and this new owner lady bought the place and re opened a few months ago. I told her how Vladimere would bring in a pizza to me while I worked the late shift at Richmond Beach Foods… she did not know what RBF was but of course now thats The littel store… another sad story… I miss Alan Gross also! Anyway I ordered a small double pepperoni and I watched her take the pizza tray out of the ice box and it had the pizza dough already made and placed into the pizza tray… frozen and dry!!! add some sauce and a few pepperoni rounds and put some cheese on there. I can say the pizza did not taste fresh and it was like eating 3 day old crust. I would say go to Spiros! Vladimire would be upset that his PIZZAMIA name is tarnished by these new owners!!! They should re name the place and call it «Cardboard Box Pizza Place» throw away the pizza and eat the box… it would tase better“ BADBADBAD… ITS Horrible!!! DK

New owners have changed the taste and quality of the food. The pizza we ordered was horrible, the crust was hard as a rock, and the cheese was not what you would expect to taste. The rice I paid for a pizza here was more than other places, but, previous visits with original owner, it was worth it. NOTNOW! Drive up the road to Aurora Ave and go to Spiros Pizza, quality, taste, and price are well worth your hard earned money!

This has got to be the worst pizza that I have ever had. I am not even sure that what I ate at that place could even be considered pizza. The crust is like cardboard, obviously it had just come out of a freezer. The cheese was not real cheese. The meat lovers pizza had one hunk of hamburger centered on each slice. If I could give no stars I would. Please save your money.

Pizza Mia has been one of our favorites since we moved to Shoreline in 1993. We have a tradition of walking to the Restuarant for dinner every winter for the first snow, and it’s our favorite place to stop by on the way home from Staging a house. Rula and Miguel have become friends since she took over the business from her dad, and they have really improved the wine selection. Spaghetti Mizithra, and the meatballs are our favorite after staging meals!

I’m truly torn writing this review. Let’s start from the beginning: The service — delightful. Warm, friendly people, you really feel like you’re being cared for. The salads — can hardly call salad! Iceberg lettuce pieces sprinkled with a little cheese and then dressing. They were not salads. The garlic bread — delish, but I haven’t ever had someone do that wrong. The entrees — Among our party we had ordered the manicotti, the ravioli, the spaghetti with marinara, and the lasagna. All were absolutely delish. I wish the portions were larger so others were more willing to share. ;) The dessert — I got the baklava, which truly was the BEST baklava I’ve ever had. Perfection on a plate. I wanted to get more to go, BUT The price — FAR too expensive for what you get. That alone will make us not return. What a shame…

I visited Pizza Mia last night with a couple of college friends that I hadn’t seen in quite a while. The pasta was solid — nothing particularly special, but I did enjoy my Black & White pasta w/black pepper and feta cheese. Portions were decently sized and it was nice that a salad or soup comes with the meal. The waitress was pleasant and, while service was a little bit slow, it didn’t have an effect on the evening. Prices seemed a little bit high to me for pasta, but not stunningly so. Overall, I had a good time here, but I probably won’t make the trek out from Ballard too often.

I love this place! Tiny and quaint, its the perfect place to go out on a date! My boyfriend brought me here the first time i came to visit(I live in CA) and Zomg, the fettucini alfredo is the best i’ve ever had! well, more fettucini egg noodle, but it is so good! not curdled in the least, creamy and most of all, stringy with melted cheese goodness! Thats all i get now when I get there and I always ask to come here to eat at least once!

Circa 2002 when I first arrived in Seattle, a local took me to this place and was never able to find it ever again — until recently. Nestled in a small intersection near Richmond beach, its the perfect spot for dinner after an afternoon at the beach. Their pizza’s are affordable, and piled on with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately we’ll be moving away from the area soon(sad, since I finally re-discovered this place).

This restaurant was owned by an absolutely charming old man named Vladimir. His daughter took it over after he retired, and moved back to greece to spend the rest of his life. This is italian with a greek twist! The interior is charming with an open kitchen feel, like you are eating at someones home. They do greek specialties once a week, but the real reason you should come are the MEATBALLS. They are as big as your head! No, i kid, but they are generously sized and amazingly tender, soft, and flavorful. The food is still really good here with the daughter cooking, but i mis Vladimir, coming over to check on our table and exclaiming«Everybody Happy!!! Good!!» The pasta dishes are really good, the white sauce is very garlicky and creamy, the marinara sauce is delicious. If you live in shoreline or frequent Richmond Beach, come here for dinner. They are not open for lunch.

Pizza Mia is a solid family-owned Italian-American restaurant. I’ve never had the pizza there, but they always deliver good, decent pasta. I recently had the manicotti stuffed with ground beef and veal, which would’ve been better had it not come swimming in a sea of white sauce. The entrée prices are very reasonable. My manicotti was $ 9.95, including a small salad of iceberg lettuce, feta cheese, and olives. However, I was charged $ 2.95(!) for a side of marinara sauce, which I needed to cut the über-richness of the white sauce. Pretty spendy for just SAUCE, especially in proportion to the cost of their entrees. But overall, I like this restaurant and I’m sure I’ll be back someday.
