Carpet To Go

I ended up going with this company to install sheet vinyl in a bathroom and «luxury vinyl tile» in my entry way. The guys who came to install (unfortunately I’ve forgotten their names) were able to do both. They were very friendly and professional and did a great job. I highly recommend them and will go with them when I decide to replace my kitchen floor.

FYI, this company requires a $ 200 deposit to come out for a «free» estimate. I opted out on not getting a quote from them.

I lived just a few mintues away for year and didn’t realize how large this place was (it looks tiny from the road).
A year ago we received bids on carpet from other sources. They were all far to expensive for the simple bonus room in our basement. So– we passed on installation. Then we had a water issue in our basement which destroyed our old client. We fixed the water issue and, based on Unilocal reviews called Carpet to Go. Tommy consulted with us over the phone, gave us some preliminary suggestions and then asked us to come in. When we got to the store they laid out samples based on our conversations and the need we described and made our selection super easy. The whole staff was very friendly and not ‘salesmanish’ at all.
The had someone out to measure the space within a day and the carpet was installed within a few days. The installation was great– no problems at all. The space was left very clean and we got it all done for what seems like a steal to us.
We would return in a heartbeat and may be back later this year for flooring for our kitchen (they do hardwoods as well).
The only improvement I could wish for is that they would accept American Express. I love that cash refund at the end of the year!

We haven’t purchased anything yet, but in our preliminary stages came in with our two-​year-​old and were so thrilled that they have a little area with toys for kids. It distracted him the entire time we were browsing and talking with the sales person.

What a great selection of quality carpeting and flooring, both remnants and to-​order! The people in the store are patient (surely a neccessity when assisting in selection of carpet). The installer they booked for us was professional and punctual. Even my aunt, who lives in Monroe, comes to shop here. Suggestion to management: a word of training to the young lady in bookkeeping who was a bit curt about double-​checking the bill.

Tom was great selling us a new vinyl floor for our kitchen. He was not pushy and offered useful suggestions for deciding which floor to purchase. Ivan installed it and did an amazing job. They were able to get the floor installed on a Saturday, which worked well with our busy schedule. Thank you so much for an amazing job.

These folks are so helpful, patient and friendly. And their prices are excellent, too.
I went in looking for a large, room-​size remnant, undecided on color. Tom worked with me, looked up pricing, helped me further once I picked an unusual color, and I ended up with a «real» carpet for only a bit more than a remnant would have been.
When I needed something in a hurry, they asked a vendor for a special favor, and they always called me back promptly with info and updates.
Their selection is extensive, across all kinds of flooring, and remnants.
A really pleasant experience, across numerous visits, every step of the way.

I came here knowing nothing about tile but having heard good things about these folks. They walked me through the whole process, with patience enough for all my questions. We narrowed it down to final choices, which I then ran through a friend who is a very high-​end interior designer. She highly praised both the choices they helped me make and the advice that they had given me. I’ll be going back for every flooing project I have from here on!
