Ideal coatings was recommended to me by more than one person in the Nappanee, Indiana area. I am happy with the results after the job was completed, but I feel the price that I was charged by Merle Miller was a bit high after doing online research. I am very new at home reno and I wanted to use area businesses to do the work. The Job was not a big one and I did not have any extra stain applied to the oak floors after sanding, only finishing with natural topcoats, and a final satin topcoat which was an extra charge. All in all, I was charged $ 4.50 a square foot for 520 square feet. I recommend anyone looking for floor refinishing to SHOP AROUND and get at least 2 or 3 estimates.
