If you ever need an appliance fixed, Walt’s is AWESOME! Called at 8am to see if they could schedule an appointment, diagnosed the problem over the phone and at 10:30am our refrigerator was fixed! Fast, friendly, knowledgeable people and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Plus, their service call fee includes a 30 day re-​service period, in case anything else goes wrong with the fridge. Will definitely be using them in the future.

They were a great help while I was troubleshooting repairs to my dryer. Very friendly and amenable – willing to work with me on part prices and sincerely offered suggestions that were truly helpful.
I talked to three different employees in as many occasions and they were all very knowledgeable.

We bought a range, refrigerator and range hood. The delivery person said he would install the hood for $ 50. The fan’s never worked correctly and now I have to pay another person to re-​install it so exhaust air doesn’t blow into the kitchen.
The store installed a ice maker in the freezer and it quit working after 3 months. When I called about a repair, Tom told me they don’t service my area. They sell and deliver, but don’t service
I found an appliance repair person who checked all the parts and plumbing, then told me the «add on» unit had been substituted for one from the factory. I’m now another $ 120 into the new ice maker and a service call.
CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

I’ve had to ask Walt’s for help twice, both with great results.
The first was when the electronic console on our oven malfunctioned. The service agent found the problem right away, said it was a known problem for that model (though unfortunately not a recall or under warranty), ordered and installed the correct part quickly. This wasn’t a cheap repair, but cheaper than replacing the entire oven.
The second was for our dryer and ice maker. One listen to the noise the 14 year old dryer was making, and the service agent told me it was beyond repair and to start shopping for a new one. I appreciated his honesty. He took apart the ice maker, defrosted it, reset it, told me what might be wrong, but said to see if the reset worked. He said I had 30 days to call and have him return for the repair, and he wouldn’t charge for the return service fee, just the parts and labor. That was months ago, so it’s fixed.
In both cases, I felt like I was given honest answers at a very fair price. I would definitely recommend Walt’s, and I plan to purchase my next set of appliances there as well!

We’ve had Walt’s fix both our washer and dryer. Very nice people, fair prices, they even sold me a dryer belt so that I could install it myself.
