Sonic

We are here now, waiting 20 minutes later for our order. We understand it is happy hour and they are busy, but when we first ordered, the gentleman who took our order was rude, cutting us off and then, after asking if our order was done and we replied no, he ended our order anyways. We then pushed the button again to finish our order and it has taken 20 minutes for it to be delivered (and there are only 2 of us, our order wasn’t large). They just brought our order out and it was large and incomplete, only parts from each time we pushed the button. We don’t come to Sherman often, but we won’t be stopping at this sonic again when we do. I wouldn’t recommend someone coming here who is in any kind of hurry.

Mixed emotions here. Everybody knows sonic so we will skip that part. Now that they post your order on screen I’m noticing many things. One is. you think you are saying money by getting a hamburger instead of a «cheese“burger but in fact they are still charging you for the cheese. Second thing I’ve noticed since when have they started charging for a cup of water? Sink water… a small cup is sink water. Please take that off my order I’m not paying for that. It’s just the little things and that’s just a few I’ve caught. What happened to the good ol fashioned sonic. Roller skates, good music, free sink water, lol. No trash. The little things.

A popular place for Austin College kids on weekends. People stop here for a nice drink to mix with. The staff is nice and the service is speedy. I have never sat and eaten at this establishment, but have gotten food and drinks, all of which was how I ordered it. The place is nicely located on Texoma and is impossible to miss.
