Enough said!

This is the only place that gets all of my stains out and returns my clothes in immaculate condition! I am super dirty so I really appreciate them!

Great service but beware early closures. Just swung by 25 minutes before closing time and found the store locked tight and empty.

I love this cleaners! I have been a customer for years and I can always trust the staff. George is the man! He always has a smile on his face and has the best customer service. I don’t know about other customers, but Stansbury has never lost any of my clothing, they are very consistent with their pricing and I’ve never had a problem with my clothes. My clothes are always clean on time and always look fresh. If you’re looking for a cleaners in the Sherman Oaks area, go to Stansbury!

First time taking my clothes here. They were very nice and helpful. No hassle, in and out when my clothes was ready. Maybe a little expensive but doesn’t break the bank. Definitely coming back!

Most horrible dry cleaning place ever. Owner is rude and lier, pressing is terrible, in one word, avoid this place if you don’t want your expensive clothing to get ruined.

I’ve been going here for years for my tailoring. I’m a short gal so simple pant and dress hem is all I get and George had always been pleasant and professional and delivered good quality. I also occasionally get something cleaned and never had problems.
It really saddens me to hear the terrible experiences others have had. I can’t discredit them but from my own experience it’s unbelievable to think it’s the same store. Very strange. But I guess it shows on Unilocal you have to take everything with a grain of salt — good or bad.

Wish I could rate this place 0 stars! Not only did they under estimate and overcharge, when I got home, I tried on the blazers that I had dry cleaned and the sleeves were ALL shrunk! I will DEFINITELY be taking everything back and not only demanding a refund, but insisting they pay for these jackets.
To begin, when I was talking to the man who works there (I assume he is the owner?) and explaining that the price they told me was higher than what I was quoted, he was not being accommodating at all! He kept saying, «well… that’s what the price is!» Talk about HORRIBLE customer service.
I am beyond furious right now. If you want decent customer service, a good price, and your clothes back the same size, DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Wish I couldn’t even give it 1 star. Brought my pants there to have taken in and cleaned, had a whole conversation with the owner while HE measured/​pinned me. Picked up my pants a week later and when I went to put them on the next morning there was a 5 inch cut in the butt and waist that was never sewn. When I brought them back and clearly showed him the hole and my receipt he told me, that I switched out different pants and his shop didn’t make that mess. He told me I was lying just to get a refund!!! I am still boiling at the audacity of the owner. Don’t give this man your money or your clothes!

I brought in a shirt and they quoted me a price. Once I told them I had a coupon they immediately increased the original quote. That seemed completely shady and unprofessional. Out of principal I won’t come back here

The thing I like about Stansbury Cleaners is that they are a good neighbor and treat me as such. I take my cleaning there about every week and George is friendly and accomodating — one time reopening the store when he was on his way home because I came a minute late. Over the years there have been little mistakes but they are handled professionally and respectfully. The tailoring is good for hems and simple things, with very reasonable price. I for one am glad the celebrity headshots are off the wall. The real stars are the customers loyal to your business all these years!

i have never experienced such great service and friendly people. my orders have always been on time, problem free. the owner George is a very experienced, well mannered person and it has been a pleasure doing business with him since i moved to sherman oaks.

My husband and I could not believe what we experienced when we went to pick up our cleaning the first and only time we used this place. The owner helped us out and was nice at first. When he went to get the items, they were not ready and proceeded to talk to his employee to find out what happened. The employee said he made a mistake and they weren’t ready. What happened next was unbelievable. He started yelling at his employee at the top of his lungs and telling him that he was an idiot and how stupid he was. It got so out of control we had to tell the owner to stop yelling at his employee. The owner then turned on us and started yelling at us and started calling us idiots and told us his employee could not get a job anywhere else because he wasn’t legal so he had to put up with it. We were absolutely shocked and horrified and I was trully afraid he was going to hurt us. I felt so bad for his employees we have to put up with his abuse. The owner is a very abusive man and treats his employees and customers like crap. Check out their BBB rating to confirm it.

My existing dry cleaner messed up one of shirts, so I decided to shop around for another dry cleaner. I called this place to give me price quotes on their dry cleaning services. Lady said $ 2.50 for dry cleaning dress shirts. I repeated this to her, and she confirmed. I went in and the same lady said its $ 4.75. Ridiculous waste of my time.

I’ve never experienced bad dry cleaning, just exorbitant dry cleaning. This place does the usual. There’s nothing special about it, but that’s the worst I can say. Plus, the prices are eminently reasonable, which is reason enough to return.

George, we love you, thats what all the photos from the celebrities on the wall say. (Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Artie Feldman, and many more that I’ve never heard of) But George and his staff do a great job, we have always been very happy with the service they provide, 2 day turnaround is no problem and they have taken care of small stains on the spot. Combine this with the fact that they often run coupons that take up to 20% off, and you have a good dry cleaners. 2 drawbacks. While they say that they open at 7:30 am, I’ve had to wait both times I’ve tried to pick up clothes early. (Better to wait until after 8 pm if you can) Also, they are located in the same strip mall as Jinky’s, the parking is really bad, especially on Saturday morning and it sometimes takes a while to get back onto Ventura.
