Everytime I visit LA, I stop by here to trying something new. The pizza was excellent!

Ordered 3 large pizzas for take out. Specifically ordered extra thin, crispy pizzas. Arrived 30 minutes after placing phone order. Had to wait 15 minutes to receive 2 large and 1 small pizza. All were not thin and under cooked. Waited another 40 minutes for my order. All pizzas had a very small amount of toppings, little cheese and even less sauce. These were the worst takeout pizzas I and my guests ever had. Will never patronize Fab’s again, and I live in the neighborhood.

I have been to Fab’s several times and the reason for this is that is consistent — consistently good service, consistently good vibe and each and every time great food. When my son came home for xmas vacation, the first place he wanted to eat was Fab’s and get their meatball sampler and the bolognese. There is no restaurant anywhere that can compete with their bolognese. It’s amazing!

Yes, Fab’s representative, I ony write reviews once in a blue moon, and do them all at once! It was definitely Fab’s. If not a DineLA Deal, it was some kind of in-house deal — we just happened to go there, always pass it on the corner there, then the server told us about it. A fixed price thing. Like I said, the atmosphere was great but my friend and we not impressed by the food. Sorry, Fab’s!

Great happy hour, excellent food and hearty portions, service was better at the bar area than in the dining area. I would have given 5 stars but every time I’ve been they’re out of at least 3 – 4 menu items.

Great margarita pizza and minestrone soup! I’ve ordered through Grub Hub several times and the food comes hot and yummy!

Might have started out as a good pizza. But it arrived over an hour after I ordered… coldish, with congealed cheese and a thickish doughy crust. We were hungry enough that we ate it on the spot and didn’t bother reheating. But it’s a tell tale sign that we threw out a third of the pie rather than saving for leftovers.

We ordered from them from eat 24. An hour after we ordered I received a phone call that they didn’t have two of our large items and they had had trouble contacting us. I told them this was the first attempt and I picked up on the second ring. They took the changes to the order. After another half an hour I called the restaurant and the man told me again they had trouble getting ahold of me which was why it was late(I only received the one phone call), and that the man had just left. He had just put on eat 24 that it would be to us in 10⁄15 and that was 5 minutes before I called. 20 minutes later I messaged eat 24(1 hour 50 minutes after order). I demanded they give us our meal for free or cancel the order. Either way we weren’t paying. Eat 24 called me a little later(now 2 hours after ordering) and told me our desserts were comped. I told the woman not good enough. The restaurant said the food would be to me in 10 minutes, 20 minutes ago. The restaurant is a mile from my house. It took a little longer but the order was canceled. 2 hours and 20 minutes after we ordered, my group decided to go out for dinner which is when we ran into the delivery man. I told him we had canceled the order because it took over 2 hours. He rudely told me it takes time to cook food and change orders. Does it take over 40 minutes to drive a mile??? I notified eat 24 and they were lovely. We decided to go to Gyu Gaku just down the street. Delicious!!! Highly recommended with great service!

Fab’s gets a solid 4 star review. Pros: — happy hour is 5 – 9 every night(at the bar) — Scott was very nice — good food — I ordered the Beet and Burrata salad with shrimp(no avocado on it per description) and the meatball appetizer — the waitress was a little sarcastic, but I’m cool with that — at least she had a sense of humor Cons: — metered parking(we saw no valet the night we were there) — they were out of about 5 – 7 items on the menu(half of the appetizers) — the tiramisu had a freezer burn taste — not good

Tisk, tisk. I was having a lazy sunday and had a hankering for some fancy italian food. I decided I would order delivery from fab’s! My confirmed delivery time was 30 minutes! I ordered at 8:00PM, which would make the delivery time 8:30PM. At 9:00PM I was told the delivery driver was on their way… I live 1.0 mile from the restaurant. The restaurant closes at 9:00PM. It is now 10:19PM… Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that my food is not coming! Was I forgotten and lied to? Did some loser employee steal my food? I’ll never know. I’m now hungry and annoyed. People ordering delivery beware!

Good Italian spot in Sherman Oaks. Large size portion dishes. We order the baked ziti & cheese ravioli dinners which were really good. The bread is fresh out of the oven. Minestrone soup is also good. The place has a New York feeling & look. Service is good.

MANYA!!! Went with a group of 22 and as usual you expect service to go down because of the size of the party. However, this was not the case. The waitress was attentive, courteous, helpful and fast. It was a very nice surprise. Let’s get down to business: The food. Lasagna and Marsala. Portions were great and prices within range. Flavor was there, specially on the lasagna. Could’ve used more sauce but the way it was presented was good anyways. The Marsala«whole order» could be share by two. It’s not Bucca di Peppo size but could do two people and get maybe a small plate. the location was kinda off. From the outside felt like a local bar, but inside felt warm and nice. I would come back for sure.

FABS is the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in LA, and I used to work at one in Beverly Hills, so that’s saying something! The service is lovely; they give you time alone when you need it and personable attention when you want it. Everyone is lovely, kind and it had such a hospitable atmosphere. The cannoli are the best of my life, along with the coffee chocolate chip gelato. If you like veal, get it Parmesan style but their pasta vodka is incredible as well. Their salads are meals in themselves and always make a good togo, especially the chopped! I will be coming back until I’ve had every item on the menu. If you haven’t tried this place for a nice night out with friends or even a date, then you’re missing out! Get on it!

I ordered the Olive oil pasta for pick up. I was absolutely strait to the trash. It was dry and uninspired. I also warn you against the Antipasto salad. Fab’s is overpriced and undeniably the worst dining experience. Don’t take my word for for it… go waste your own time and money. This place is Dominos with a with a liquor license and mood lighting.

Met there with a group of 9 before heading over the hill for an event; first time we’ve been there since the remodel a couple years ago. Food was very good and there was no problem when 3 women wanted to split dishes; the server was very accommodating. Speaking of Claudine, she was helpful, friendly and when two salads were delivered without the walnuts as on the menu, she confirmed they were missing and brought out an abundance to be added as needed. As a side note, I ordered chicken piccata and the half order was enough dinner along with the bread.

FINALLY made it to FABS which happens to be the«go-to» Italian spot in the Oaks. I don’t know what I was expecting out of Fabs, but I definitely didn’t plan on spending $ 60 on a dinner for two with only 1 beer! Don’t get me wrong the food was tasty, but I just expected the prices to be a little cheaper. My favorite part of our meal was the meatball sampler and the garlic bread. Service was OK, not memorable, free basket of garlic bread with Unilocal check-in and metered street parking. I’ll try and make it back for their M-F Happy Hour from 5 – 9 at the bar.
