I’m a psychotherapist in private practice in the greater Los Angeles area and would — without a doubt — recommend Anger Management 818 to anyone who I came into contact with who needed a referral for anger management services. I have been fortunate to meet and get to know Anita, Bryan and Ingrid through a professional organization and they have demonstrated high standards of excellence on a personal and professional level. If you have any doubts about whether Anger Management 818 is for you or not, just give Anita a call. I’m sure you will find her to be amiable and knowledgeable about her field of expertise.

Unfortunately my daughter had to take some anger management classes. I called numerous places looking for a place that was just for teens and in a safe environment. After talking with Anita everything sounded great. My daughter started classes. The first class she was alone. Ok great but second class she was with another girl who had problems no child should have to go through. My daughter and her were encourage by the counselors to exchange numbers. I absolutely did not like this! My daughter has her own troubles to deal with. She is certainly not able to counsel or advise this troubled child. My daughter attended more class some alone and some with a boy(the girl never returned). After her 8th class the counselor has my daughter call me to set up a parent meeting for the following week. She also mentions that he has her down as taking 4 classes. I immediately call him and ask him to check his records. He ask me if there’s anyway I can prove she came to more classes. What?! There isn’t a sign in sheet? So he says his boss is on vacation and he will get back to me. Following week the«boss» is still on vacation. He is still unsure. Mean while her classes a due to be completed by the court. Of and he changed the parent meeting 5 weeks later without a word to me. Plus my daughter will be long done with her classes. After all this unorganization the class it self isn’t helping. They do not prove and weekly work sheets or advice other than verbal. Oh and Brian told me during our discussion«in 11 months she will be able to do what she wants.» What the heck? He obviously does not have a child. Just because a child turns 18 does not mean they no longer need guidance. All in all 2 thumbs down. Bad communication, bad advise given to my daughter, bad management(there is no one running the desk), bad billing, bad seating, bad customer service, and bad ethics.
