After catching a movie with the girls, we decided to catch up over appetizers and beer. With this bar right across the street, it wasn’t a hard choice in picking a place to go. The entire restaurant is self seating and they have plenty of servers on staff as more than 3 helped us throughout our entire experience. One too our order, one delivered our food and another one kept our drinks full! The three of us decided on the chicken quesadillas, fried pickles and garlic cheese fries which totally hit the greasy spot! I stuck with water, as I was the DD and the girls drank fresh Guinness and an amber on draft. Although it’s your typical bar and not incredibly exciting, it’s worth a try before/after a movie or for any sporting event as they have a million TV’s on!

My cousins and I had just walked out from the regal cinemas movie theater and decided we wanted to go someplace and catch up with one another. We looked up and saw this bar from across the street and decided to stop in for a beer and some appetizers. The food is awesome! Perfect bar food — We got the garlic cheese fries, quesadillas, and fried pickle chips — all really good! It doesn’t seem like they have servers assigned to a specific area, because we had several waiters and waitress check on us throughout the evening, which was really nice.

Was here last night for Monday night football and a group of us had a really great experience! The food was on point and the pool table was open which made it even better. I don’t remember the name of our waitress but she was really helpful, and she’d come back every few minutes to check on us! I will definitely be back here for some fun!

Everything here is overpriced! Food and drinks. The chicken wings are not the best. Yea its convenient because you can stop there to grab a bite before watching a movie at Regal Cinemas but thats about it.

This is possibly the most disgusting club sandwich I have ever eaten. Plasticy«cheese,» over processed«meats» that taste as if they came from a plastic container, and white bread so covered in butter that I couldn’t even eat it. And I PAID for this experience. Waitresses were awful, too. Definitely never coming back here. Blah.

Good place for beers and games but food is marginal at best. Had their tacos on one visit which were over cooked. Just had their ruben sandwich which was awful. Minced corned beef(I think) was mixed with sauerkraut and spread thin on rye. Not good at all. Stick to beer!

Great place to come! Always good«bar food» equivalent to a Chilis, etc. Don’t miss out on their Fry sauce! Service is always great — always! Once, interested in tequila and not having much knowledge as well, they having a large selection to choose from … Garrett was nice enough to help us by explaining the differences so we could choose based on our own personal preference! This really went a long way with us. We continue to return and this has quickly became one of our local favorites! Giving Chilis a run for their money!

My wife thought this was a fish restaurant for the longest time because the logo looks like a shrimp(it’s a boxing glove). Anyway, we finally made it in here and it’s actually a sports bar with 10 locations. The service was great on a Sunday afternoon, the server even remembered our complicated order after getting interrupted by another patron on her way back to the bar(she didn’t need to write it down). The Original Chubby Melt is the most amazing cheeseburger of it’s type I’ve ever had. 2 grilled cheese sandwiches over a burger made to order. Next time I might try cheddar and bacon added on. Also, the fries and fry sauce are fantastic! They do have shrimp on the menu too, haven’t tried that yet.

I liked this place. It was a group of 4 of us in this area looking for something decent open around 10:30 and Bout Time showed up. Typical bar interior, high-tops, nice large and comfy. The bar is super. They have a large selection of everything… if you can’t find something you’d drink here you have an issue. 3 beers and one vodka soda for an affordable price and the food was great too. We had the turkey sandwich, really legit! Loved the sprouts on it… Also had the smoked fiery wings and they were good too, but nothing to knock your socks off. Also had a burger, loved the fresh fries with that. All in all… cool place, this area needs stuff like this and people should give it a bit of support!

They really need to hire more waitstaff here. Came in on a Friday evening which meant the place was packed once everyone got off work. They only had two people behind the bar who were also serving the floor. Understandably, they had a hard time keeping up with orders. Stop over working your bar staff and spend the money to hire more servers. The chips and guac were okay, salsa was lame, Monte Cristos were huge, and the pizza was pretty good. Prices were reasonable. Improve the service by hiring more servers and this bar will do even better.

I go back and forth on this place, but they’ve been open several months now so things seem to have leveled out. I typically get the Island Cowboy sandwich because it has all of my favorite ingredients: beef, teriyaki, pineapple, mushrooms, caramelized onions, hoagie roll… I’d probably choose it for a last meal. It comes with fresh cut, super crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside fries, and what they call their secret sauce. I like to speculate on its ingredients and am currently going with fry sauce mixed with BBQ. Whatever is actually in there, I’d eat it with a spoon. The only thing that bums me out about the place is sometimes the food takes an hour to arrive, sometimes the servers ignore you for 30 minutes(they work as a «team» so no one is assigned to your table), and sometimes the food comes out cold(usually after you’ve waited that hour for it). They’re still working out a few kinks, but over all I really enjoy their addition to the area.

This is my 2nd time here, and my last. Poor service and pints a little short of the top of the glass, but alas we should always leave room for head. Food is average.

So…6 mths ago, Bout Time opened next to the apartment complex I’ve lived in for the past year and half. I moved out to the Sheridan/Englewood area as a last minute emergency thing, and have never been super excited about the area. Nothing walkable, all chains and industrial stuff. I have always been more of a «city of» Denver girl, and will always choose a locally owned business over a chain. I’m only sorry that I just now finally went into Bout Time, because this place is seriously on point. I’m also a corporate event planner, so I like to think I notice way more than the average patron… a property really has to have their shit together in order for me to be able to relax. There are an insane amount of perfectly placed TVs, I estimate at least 3,000 ft of various seating options(lg. tables for groups, or a 2 or 4-top, or the long middle«high bar» is my favorite use of real-estate) and a well stocked bar with an excellent beer menu and a extensive food menu. I sat at the bar to have a drink while I ordered a couple menu items to go — and the customer service was perfect. Immediate acknowledgement, and friendly service while still having a sense of urgency. EVERY front of house staffer in that bar either made eye contact with me or asked if I needed anything in the first 5 minutes I was there. My bartender explained to me that it was a «to order» kitchen(i.e., not just shit thrown in a fryer or zapped in a microwave) and it might take a little longer, but would be well worth. Honestly, the timing was still fine… and when I brought the meals home, I discovered they were perfectly prepared. Hand-cut fries, massive juicy burger, a fresh and generous Chef-salad…and the house made garlic mayo? So good. Sorry, not sorry to whoever gets to smell my breath later. Long story short, wether you just want to watch the game and drink/grub, or you want to find a spot in the area that has a well executed menu with tons of options… Bout Time is it. Oh, and I did I mention they have Buck Hunter? My kitch fave-requirement for any decent sports bar. Grey Goose AND Buck Hunter? Immediate MVP status in my book.

I was hoping for more of my visit from bout time because I felt… bout time there’s a bar in the area that doesn’t close early. Beers were cold, no complaints there and although I did not try the food it looked like some good fried bar fare goodness that I would’ve enjoyed. Although I did overhear some patrons complaining that their pretzel didn’t come with the nacho cheese that the menu had listed. Where my hangup comes in is service, I don’t expect super fast, upscale service… I’m in a bar and only thing I expect at a bar is you get my order for a drink within 8 – 10 minutes of me sitting down. This did not happen unfortunately, nor did a second drink being ordered happen as it was painful enough to get my first. Place wasn’t that busy at all so I was a bit disappointed. Also cutting off really drunk rowdy guests is appreciated by the other guests, just my 2¢.

Tried this place out for the first time after dinner since it seems to be the only bar open after 10 in the area. First impression was not awesome. The logo seems to refer more to a boxing joint then a bar since its a boxing glove. Once inside there are several tables, one long community table, and a large bar top. The servers/bartenders were not noticeable at first because they weren’t behind the bar or talking to tables they were sitting down socializing some with eachother other and with guests that seemed to be their friends. We sat down at the community table and realized that the girl sitting next to us was actually a bartender hanging out with some guests. She got our order and went back behind the bar. When she came back she let my husband know that the keg was out and that she would bring his in a minute, but gave him a half beer while he was waiting. Then sat down with another table. About 15 min later she came back and asked how things were and then realized she never brought my husband his beer so she ran back to the bar poured it and brought it back. Not the worst bar service I have ever had, but definitely not stellar! The food seemed over priced for mediocre bar food so we didn’t bother munching on any. Probably won’t be back, but who knows… it is open late and hopefully the service gets better with time!

My boyfriend and I came here before seeing American Sniper at the theater across the street(great movie btw, go see it). It is great how close this place is to the theater. This seems like a great spot to visit before going to see a movie or to come watch sports(it is definitely a sports bar! TV’s everywhere and the layout screams, «come here to see the game»). The bartender was a young girl who was very friendly and allowed us to sample a couple beers we were unsure of. One thing I found odd was that they warned us when we walked in that they were not currently serving food. I am not sure of there was something wrong in the kitchen or if they don’t have food during certain times of the day. Either way, I imagine this place has very salty bar food so it doesn’t seem like a spot to seek out for a meal. Other reviewers keep complaining about the beer selection but there are several good beers, from microbreweries here, so not sure what the people on here are whining about. We tried Goosehead I think it’s called, which was a white IPA and was very refreshing. We also sampled a beer from a brewery based out of Utah, cool! I am from Utah, and I gotta tell you, I NEVER would have thought a brewery would exist there. The bartender told us that this establishment is actually based out of Utah, cool! We ended up getting 90 shilling, big ones! 25 ounces of goodness, it was $ 14 for two of these bad boys.

Gave this joint a shot recently and really wasn’t impressed. You pull up to the place and honestly you can’t tell if it’s a restaurant, gym or just a bar. Inside it’s rather apparent that it’s much more of a bar than anything. Problem is they only have mainstream swill. Looks like their distributor has them over the barrel. Huge food menu so I ordered the onion rings($ 7.99) and their garlic burger. Rings arrive and there are like 8 or 10 small rings. Not to mention they weren’t all that good. Burger arrives and it’s pretty apparent that it’s nothing special. I’m expecting big garlic flavor if nothing else, but no. Nada, no garlic. Just an average at best meat puck. I’d skip this place for beers and burgers. It’s Bout time, these guys evaluate their business model. Honestly.
