Cob’s Place

Cob’s is an OK place to hang with a few buddies and get drunk. Its been here a very long time, but I was just told it is for sale and will probably be closing soon, with or without a buyer. The bartender was friendly and nice. It was very slow when I was there, with maybe only 6 other customers. I did eat the double cheeseburger and man it was 2 huge meat patties, and tasted very good for bar food.
This bar seems to be on the dead side of town now as it used to be wild and fun place to drink, but now it seems its just the locals who walk there to drink.
Was OK place to got for a bit, but not much going on. So depends on if you want to drink alone or be social. They do not accept credit cards, but have an expensive to use ATM machine you can use to get cash, when its not on the blitz.
Could be a great bar again, but needs that huge UMMPPHHH to return it back to its haydays and the place to go.
