Ice cream was pretty good. Atmosphere is very neat, like an old time ice cream parlor. As you walk in the smells hit you and your tastebuds stand at attention. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Love this parlor for sure! It’s the décor that hits you right away as being a old fashioned parlor. The ice cream is very abundant, lots of flavors to choose from and the servers are good at what they do. A bit expensive but that’s ice cream I guess. Seating outside is a plus, will choose this over Dairy Queen allllllll day.

We enjoyed an after dinner treat here. The parlour was busy but service was quick. I enjoyed the ice cream cone I got. A word of advice, take a little time to find the flavor you want. With the crowd it’s hard to see all the selections. They have a board of favors but they aren’t described. They also have a large selection of fudge that I didn’t see until I got my come.

I’ve been coming to Sheboygan for years, but have only just recently made my way over to South Pier parlor– and now I’ve been there more times than I’d care to admit! It’s super good, affordable, and has a great view of the river. Plus now that it’s summer, it’s open even later. The interior is really cute, and has that old school classic soda shop look to it. There’s tons of kitsch and a cute little train that drives around near the ceiling. It’s a super cozy looking place– I definitely recommend eating in if you have the time! They have a really wide menu. They, of course, have ice creams and sundaes, but they also make smoothies, phosphates, sodas, and things like that. They also offer sodas and a few classic candies, and have fudge available by the pound. Ice cream is for sale in scoops, by the pint, or a quart. They also have premade ice cream sandwiches available in a freezer. Personally, I think the prices are completely reasonable. I think I paid $ 5.50(ish) for a triple scoop. At the ice cream shop closest to my house(in Illinois) it’s 4.50 for ONE scoop. So for me, this is a very, very pleasant treat for both my sweet tooth and my wallet. While I’m still trying every flavor, I have yet to have one I didn’t like! I’d most recommend Pirate’s Bounty(caramel ice cream with M&M’s and Oreo pieces), Birthday Cake, and Watermelon Sherbet. The latter is SUPER refreshing on a hot summer day! This is a great little place that I’m sorry I overlooked for so long. I have been there repeated times since, and will continue to go there for the remainder of my summer vacation in Sheboygan! It’s the best place in town for ice cream, hands down.

Great ice cream, generous portions, a little pricey but worth it. Beautiful outdoor seating right on the water. A must-try!

So many different flavors to choose from. Price is a bit high, but the serving is LARGE. Staff is polite and the atmosphere is neat. It is real retro, but still classy. 10⁄10 will come back. Eat it there because they serve it in glassware to get the full experience.

YUM! We stayed across the street at the resort and decided to walk over for some ice cream. We were glad we did! Very much enjoyed stepping into this old fashioned ice cream parlor complete with the train tracks and train hanging on the ceiling — kids enjoyed watching that! The ice cream was very, very good! We had a big group and we all ordered something different… from your simply one scoop in a cone to vanilla sodas. No complaints from anyone. We would definitely visit again!

Ice cream is decent, I think it is Petersons. The décor is very nice and the location is great. One tip if ordering a shake or malt, when asked(or in my case, I wasn’t asked so mention it), tell them it is for here… don’t say to go. If you eat it on site, they give you a glass with the extra left over shake in the silver mixer thing. I wasn’t asked and she poured some into a plastic cup, gave it to me, then gave the remaining shake to a coworker who started to eat it as she headed into the back… really? The other person in our party was asked(a different girl helped him) when ordering a malt and received more. Hey, at $ 6 a malt I want as much as I can get.

The coconut joy was hands down amazing. Get a one scoop on a waffle cone and you will die a happy person.
