I won a free meal from a local radio show so I went. They refuse to let me order what I wanted. They kept calling the manager when I told the staff I didn’t want the meal I won. I wanted something else. So the staff member called the manager he said no. I could understand if what I wanted was more expensive then my free meal. But what I wanted to eat was ALOT cheaper. Completely ridiculous management !! Horrible food. Don’t be fooled.
Taco bell is better!

I remember eating at taco taco in OKC when I was a young child. I happened to be n Shawnee on business and saw that there is a taco TiVo here. I just had to eat here if for nothing more than nostalgia. I ordered a taco and a burrito. The taco was very good. The burrito was a little bland as the beans didn’t have much flavor. My only complaint with my visit here was that the tables had not been cleaned off and there was several staff standing around in the kitchen doing nothing. You have to keep the side clean as well as serve delicious food in my book. If I come here again I will most likely use the drive thru to avoid a dirty table.

Taco Tico is a small town, homemade Tex-​Mex place in Shawnee with an awesome taco deal — I think it was 12 tacos for $ 8. They have a decent tex mex menu with indian tacos all at a great, low price.
I got one of their burritos, it was good. And a great deal for $ 3 since I was stuffed after just the one. M got their #6 and couldn’t finish the whole plate. But it was good enough to take for lunch the next day.
I really can’t think of any reason to take a star from this place. The service was fast and friendly, the place was clean. There were some arcade games in one little corner and a vending machine, but hey, it just adds to the charm.

The food is great. One negative review I have is I’ve seen people not using the plastic containers on the salsa bar the last two times I’ve came in. Is that not a health code violation?

The dining room wasn’t the kind of clean I like to see in a place that prepares food for the public, so that makes me wonder about the parts I can’t see. I hear they have some true fans, so that’s great. It just isn’t for me.

All you have to do is say «tico» to my little brother and he will start whimpering «chili burrito».
There is something very magical about this place. The meat, the beans, the chips are all very fresh. And despite it being fast food, it takes a little longer than normal because everything is made to order.
My dad is such a fan, I think he just might buy this place. OMG my brother is going to get FAT.
