She’s A Pistol

She’s A Pistol Has No Honor ! ! !
After doing business for years with She’s A Pistol because I liked the owners, and then after the robbery because I wanted to support the establishment even after the terrible blow she was dealt, I used SAP as my Federal Firearms Transfer agent… I am sorry to say I will NEVER do business with her again!
In the last days of 2015 I purchased 2 handguns for transfer. As directed by the seller, I called and informed She’s A Pistol of the transfer and the expected date of a/​a 18-​Jan-​2016. Their representative said that while it’s not really necessary to call, he thanked me for the heads up and that was the end of the call.
There was NO contact from She’s A Pistol after that. So on the 18^th I called to verify the shipment. Apparently the guns had been delivered a few days prior and they just never called. AND, now I learn their transfer fee had almost doubled! I told them when the purchase was made, AND that I called to inform them of the transfer, AND no mention of a price rise was made, AND to please check with the owner to honor the original fee when the guns were purchased. They said they would call me back and guess what? Surprise, Surprise… No Phone Call !
So I went in to get my guns, and explained the problem to a different associate because the guy I talked to was suddenly busy in an empty store. I was told by the clerk who did wait on me that no-​one called the owner and in previous experiences, the owners has been firm on their price hikes. Period. And she wouldn’t call the owner to verify this today as requested.
From now on, I will take all my business to Mike Everhart at SMI Arms. He’s closer to me, his employees are more helpful and they bend over backwards for their customers.

She’s a Pistol is one of the best places in the KC metro for your firearm needs. They definitely go the extra mile. Their class selection is fantastic with many options to suit your needs including child education classes. They also seem to have the ammo I need in stock even with the shortages found at most places.
They also have the most popular firearms in stock as well, and if you need a transfer, they are the go to guys. Becky and Jon are a class act and their employees follow in their footsteps. You don’t need to worry about being made to feel like you don’t know anything — an attitude found a most curmudgeon gun shops staffed with rude know-​it-​all types — and they’ll be able to answer your questions in a professional manner. Deal in confidence!

I was referred here by a gentleman at The Bullet Hole. I went in right before closing, and the owner (Becky) spent as much time as I needed getting information about classes and selection of firearms. The classes are reasonably priced, and one is even taught by a local police officer. I will further update after my classes! :)
