Great burgers. Nice place, lots of locals. Very polite and attentive staff. Wanted to try the pie, but so full from that delicious burger and potato wedges. Great value. I will definitely go out of my way to eat here again.

Yes me and my granddaughter was down they were having a couple softball tournaments at firelake stadium so we decided to stop by the Hamburger King and neat and my granddaughter got a Frito chili pie supposed to Ben the Supreme but it wasn’t and she got bacon and Chile french fries terrible I got a regular hamburger and they brought me tater tots I didn’t order I got a sweet tea a granddaughter got Coke and for the first time eating at this restaurant I would not ever go back tlfarmer. 405 826– 4768

We got to Hamburger King around 1:30 PM during the week. There was still a line! We ended up sitting at the counter, since there was open seating there. The service was friendly and quick! The three people in our party all got cheeseburgers — all were yummy, thin-​patty burgers, that reminded me (and don’t shoot me, HK purists and Shawnee locals) of Sonic burgers. The potato wedges were crispy and delicious! Tater tots were also good, but I could have used a few more on the plate. You can tell this is a much loved spot in this town. We will be back next time we’re in Shawnee!

Reminds me of every classic burger I had as a kid with my grandfather visiting Oklahoma from Ohio. Now I get to eat it every time I pass through Shawnee. The burgers are consistently good. The service is great. It can be busy but they run a quick service so the wait is not normally too bad.

Lovely little place where all the locals go. It has a nice diner vibe and you place your order in a telephone at your table. Luckily I arrived early because this place really seems to fill up with regulars around noon. I saw in some older reviews that they are cash only — they actually take cards now, except American Express. I enjoyed a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and hush puppy sticks. I’d love to go back when I come through town again and try a hamburger and pie.

Like the hamburger Marshall eats on HIMYM, I have yet to find another burger as good as hamburger king’s. I don’t know what they are doing, but keep it up!

I’m so protective when it comes to Hamburger King!
This is a great place to eat! Everything taste fresh! Real cheese! Fries are over the top! Fantastic! In 12 years my order was messed up 2 times! But they made it right. This is how a restaurant should be ran! Incredible customer service and friendly people. I feel at home! Couldn’t ask for more! OUTSTANDING!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This place is awesome. The burgers taste like the old fashioned burgers that you got back in the fifties and sixties. Their potato wedges or out of this world. Their onion rings are just yummy. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Enjoy Hamburger King

Hamburger King makes a pretty decent burger. The setting is a hometown, drug store diner feel. It’s a relaxing Saturday lunch favorite.

Best french fries in town, hands down! My family has been going to Hamburger King since I was a kid. Actually, since my parents were kids. No joke. This teenie little, somewhat run down, burger joint makes up for appearances with amazing, fresh, consistently awesome burgers and fries that bring back so many memories and satisfy every time. Lunch time there is always a crowd, especially when school is in session so get there early.
Plenty of parking in the back and there is a rear entrance as well. Only con is that I wish they had some tables that sat more than 4. It’s a little offputting to go in larger groups then have to split up.

My most favorite burger place since I was a kid. Everything on the menu is the best you’ll taste. The price is pretty decent too. This place is worth the drive. The staff have always been friendly and it’s a very laid back diner.

Went with a couple of friends and we loved it ! We arrived about ten minutes before they opened to get in line. Well worth the line ! Burgers and fries were right on. The desserts are delicious !!

I’ve been eating these hamburgers for 45 of my 58 years. Good things never grow old. This place still carries its ’70’s décor. Walking into this joint reminds me of high school. The cheese burgers are the thin patty, flat top grill burgers with a grill toasted bun, American cheese only, fresh veggies. Mmm mmm, good. I switch back and forth between the potato wedges and the crisp tator tots.

My burger was yummy. The place is unique. Prices very reasonable! Mom and I shared a double meat, double cheese burger with wedges. Everything tasted great. Only minor issue (which I warned my mother about) the burger came with a toothpick in the middle. I warned her to be careful with it. She took it out but apparently I little piece had broken off inside the burger. She bit into it but no harm was done.

I ordered a cheese burger basket with potato wedges and a slice of fruit salad pie.
The hamburger was good. The patty was thin but standard dinner fare. It was un remarkable but decent.
The potato wedges were pleasantly fluffy but had a coating that plaid and detracted from the quality and taste.
Overall I would say a decent but unremarkable offering.
The fruit salad pie was worth ordering. The filling had a good balance in consistency and sweetness. They used fresh fruit in the thin but pleasant filing.
The crust was good with enough crumb and not overly sweet.
The topping was a bit unpleasant with a taste like cool whip.
