(This review only relates to the children’s theater shows.) This past Summer I took the children up twice to see Aladdin Jr. and High School Musical Jr. just for something different and because the children’s theater scene in our area is not that great. The ticket prices were reasonable enough at $ 10 each and the shows were uncrowded enough that we opted to purchase tickets in person both times although the Playhouse does have an easy to use website with on-line ticket ordering. The shows themselves were cheesy beyond belief although it was clear all of the actors, mostly older children, were enjoying themselves. Overall we had a good time and look forward to coming back at a future date. The one thing worth noting is that if you try to find the theater via an old school GSP device like a Tom-Tom, be careful as it will not send you to the Playhouse but to some backwoods residential area about five miles away on the other side of East Stroudsburg.
