Super nice people. Owner/​manager explained that the credit card machine was down and that she was only able to accept cash. My brother and I split a chicken torta and Cuban sandwich. Both were very good and made fresh to order. Only gripe would be that the sandwiches do not come with a side dish, but aside from that, it’s definitely worth checking out if you happen to be passing through Shokapee.

I love this place! The Cubana is absolutely amazing. The prices are very reasonable for the portions you receive. Everything I’ve tried has been so delicious.

Wow the food was really, really good. I had the sandwich with breaded beef and it was amazing. The portion size for $ 10 was huge. I ate half and had to save the rest for later.
Their hamburger and fries were just as amazing. Slices of avocado in every dish just tasted sooo good. And the friends were super great. This place has quickly become my favorite.

We stopped by with a fairly large group after church. Food was very good and the portions large. Most dishes you could split with someone. Employees were very nice and helpful. We will be back!

Lots of good food at a reasonable price for lunch! The owner welcomed us in before they were supposed to be open. They explained all the different menu options available and provided us with some extras to enhance the meals. We will definitely be back again.

The food looked great but had very little flavor. The skirt steak was very tough and the hamburger didn’t have much flavor. Good service but the food was a definite disappointment.

The food here is very good and the people are very nice. The restaurant is in a strip mall and it’s somewhat informal. It’s set up something like a Chipotle: you choose a meat and a couple side dishes for something like $ 7.00. Very reasonably priced for good food. Highly recommended.

Very good healthy food. Affordable prices for the size meal and location.
I decided to stick to the grilled chicken or steak with steamed veggies to cut weight and improve my meal habits and it worked out well.
All meals are prepared from scratch and they are fresh. A good excuse to support family owned business over overrated frachises established in the area.

This is a MUST VISIT restaurant for Shakopee and surrounding cities. A number of their traditional dishes will amaze and excite your taste buds. Hokey phrase, I know, but equally accurate.
I am actually en route to pick up a To Go order of their Cubano and Yuca because this has become my favorite dish to get when I’m on this side of the river.
Recommendations? Stick to that which the name suggests: the traditional fare. The burgers and steaks are cooked well and are flavorful, but the traditional fare is where it’s at.
Provide them with your patronage, even just for To Go to keep this fresh flavor in town.

Hidden gem! My wife and I tried it out and have been back every week since. Everything we’ve had has been great, from burgers to steak to the pork specials. Check it out. It’s worth it.
