The 2010 Privateer Feast put on by Team Wench to raise money for breast cancer research was a big success! A bunch of pirates, privateers, and other unsavory nautical types came together for an evening of inebriation and debauchery — all aimed at loosening the purse strings and wallets — for various raffles and auctions to raise money to help attack this highly important problem! Food was good as pirate food goes, drink selection was decent(even if they did run out right at the end…), the entertainment was good, but the camaraderie, friendship, and general silliness of the evening was as always — very entertaining! In the end, we raised just over $ 15,000 this year — an increase of several thousand dollars over last year’s take. Congratulations to Team Wench and all their hard work on behalf of us all to organize this important fundraiser!
