One of the three Chinese places in Sequim. They’re all within a few blocks of each other as you get toward the downtown area. The Moon Palace is tucked away in a little strip mall on the left side of the street as you’re headed west.
If you’ve been to a decent Chinese restaurant on the West Coast, you know what to expect here. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable, but I prefer the Dynasty Chinese Restaurant which is just down the street. Don’t let that dissuade you from trying Moon Palace, you may find that you like it better.

The food and staff are great! the the owner George and the staff which, I’ve known for years! Luv the bar, great for neighborhood locals, and great conversation! ! Then the restaurant side is great also for family! Luv, Luv the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer! ! All the food is great too!

I love this place. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve had here. My picky toddler even loves it! The very rare occasions my husband and I get a date night, we always come here. George and Cindy are awesome!

I first started coming here when I was a teenager, (43 now) moved away for 15 yrs, then moved back to town and find some of the old favs are still surviving. There’s a reason why… it’s good! So many restaurants in town have come and gone, but Moon Palace continues to serve reliable food and great drinks. The main dining area is somewhat stark and uninspired, but the food and great drinks is why I come, not the «looks». The bar is very hometown feeling, where the bartender knows everyone in town. It’s a very relaxed feeling, the sort of place you can come to hang out and play cribbage. Ohya, did I mention the great drinks?
Bottom line, the «new» places in town come and go, but the ones that keep going for decades are worth supporting with our business, go try it and see. :)

Well don’t show up around closing if you want to feel welcome… I called ahead to see if they delivered and even though they said they did I decided to go by and enjoy the lounge and have a nice meal. I went to the lounge and the bartendress didn’t even bother to turn around from her calculations to welcome me. I was the only one there. I noticed they had no drafts beers so I ordered a bottle and a bourbon. They didn’t have the bourbon and I had yet to be welcomed with eye contact so I left. At least next store at The Oasis there were people there and they had draft beers. So in summation I would suggest you get your takey outy from the Palace (even though I am not sure how good the food is yet) and if you want to hang and at least have some company try elsewhere.

Fantastic food and value! Came based on Unilocal reviews the portions were amazing my wife and I shared the «Imperial dinner» and that could have fed almost four people! Service was great and I would highly recommend it!

Thought I would do a review since I have been going to Moon Palace for over 20 years. Each of my family members have their favorites that we must order every time. My husband loves their hot and sour soup, my son has to have their honey walnut prawns and my daughter can’t get enough of their sweet and sour chicken! I personally like the egg foo young and mu shu pork. I will continue to dine here as long as they are open. They have friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

As a Chinese /​Cantonese, I love this place. The food is REALLY authentic, nice service too. I was craving for Chinese food, now I am more than satisfied.
