I had a terrible experience. I will never go back to this location. My fiancé and I had bought new wedding bands from Jareds in late November. We were«promised» our bands to be done by December 1st but our sales lady had reassured us that Jared will give us a call whenever our bands come in, since its not guaranteed they will come in at that time, or they might come in sooner. So, we waited for a phone call. To today, no phone call. My fiancé and I drop by the store to check on our bands and the lady that«helped» us was extremely rude. Probably the most rude person I have ever met. Even more so with her never having any facial expressions. Ever. She continued to make snarky remarks throughout our whole experience. Isn’t this supposed to be a happy and wonderful experience for us? We continue to tell her how we bought bands INTHESTORE in November and we were there to check on them and possibly pick them up. Since we never got an update on whether our rings were in the store or not. So, obviously, that means we bought them in the store, and were waiting for them to be ordered, be delivered, and now we are there to pick them up. She looks us up in the computer and cannot find ANYTHING about us. Nothing at all. We, of course, become very concerned and we drive home to get our detailed paperwork/warranty to show her that we did INDEED buy the bands there. She kept making remarks such as «I don’t know the whole story» to us as though we are lying about our purchase. We come back with our information and she says«oh, its in repair». My fiancé and I are both confused as to why our bands are even IN repair since they are both new bands that we ordered at the store. The short lady goes back to find our bands in repair and comes back out with them after 10 minutes. She says if she knew we had purchased them there in the store that she would’ve known they were in repair. First off, terrible customer service. Secondly, we never said any different, and she never specified with asking us how exactly was the transaction process when we purchased our wedding bands. How are we supposed to know we will not be in the system if our bands are in repair? How were we even supposed to know our bands were in repair?! We still don’t understand this. I asked her if we could be reassured that we will be in the system for the future and she SAID we will be. But she did not sound very convincing. My fiancé asked her why we didn’t get a phone call or update on the bands(cause we’ve had my engagement ring re-sized there before and they called us when it was ready) and she blankly stares at my fiancé for about 20 seconds and then states«we don’t do that here». How could an expensive and«respected» store not notify their customers that their product is available? Then, she proceeds to walk us to the doors after she’s finally done with our bands, and doesn’t even offer to open the door for us. Per my fiancé, she also gave me a long glare. I do not appreciate this customer service and how we’ve been treated during this happy and already stressful time in our lives. She has ruined this wedding experience for us. We will never go back to this location. HIGHLY do not recommend this location.

Typically this establishment’s team is always very professional. However, my wife was getting her earrings cleaned and the associate took them to the repair shop to have them soak in the cleaner. Their steamer was broke or something on the store side. We inquired on a rhodium plating because of the reaction my wife has to white gold. Got caught up in the moment and they were left over night on an «inquiry status». We did not have a ticket written on them. The next day when we went back for them they were no where to be found! It’s a jewelry store for crying out loud! What do you mean you can’t find them?! How often does this happen?! Management said there was nothing they could do. So now we’re out a pair of special moment diamond studs that cost $ 1400! It can only be Jared :(

Our experience at Jared has been nothing but a headache. My fiancé bought my engagement ring and wedding band from Jared. From the beginning, we had nothing but problems with my ring and the diamond coming loose. Every time we took it in to get tightened, the store employees were extremely rude. One time we took it in to get my ring sized down and the lady employee looked me up and down and said«oh, that size will not fit you. Let’s get the ring sizer». Another time I went to pick up my ring and the gentleman working tried to give me someone else’s ring. Another time I went to pick up my ring(2 days later than they said it would be ready) after having it resized and they couldn’t find my ring… After they finally found it, the lady tells me it hasn’t been resized yet and it would take even more days. Absolutely ridiculous. I took the time out of my day to drive all the way over there and the ring hadn’t even been looked at because someone lost it. It was almost like they thought we were exaggerating or making it up every time we took the ring in to have the prongs tightened. They huffed and puffed and rolled their eyes(yes, I’m serious and wish I were kidding). We heard excuse after excuse as to why the diamond kept getting loose(so loose that you could hear it jingling around when I moved my hand). One employee told us «your finger is too small and the diamond is too big». Finger size has nothing to do with it. Another time my fiancé took my ring in for me because I had had it with their bad attitudes and rude faces. This time the general manager was there and he told my fiancé that my particular ring was only made for rings with a center stone .75 and smaller. At the point, my fiancé questioned him as to why he was sold a ring by the sales lady KNOWING a the diamond he had picked out was over .75. The GM of course couldn’t answer that. So my fiancé had the prongs tightened AGAIN and went on his way. We’ve changed the prongs, resized the ring, etc and it now is not as loose as it was before but I still do not look forward to going into Jared because of the employees there. My fiancé spent a lot of hard earned money on something he knew I would love. Walking into a jewelry store should be fun and exciting, not a headache. Long story short, my fiancé wishes he’d never gone to Jared and that he’d bought my ring from people who were more educated in diamond rings. Save yourself the time/hassle and go elsewhere.

Very rude staff. Insulted the diamond that I bought my wife because it was certified by the EGL. Every time I go to a Jared I’m reminded why I say I’ll never go back.

Very disappointed in a recent visit to the store in The Forum in Schertz, Texas. My engagement ring is a family piece that my fiancé had reset at another jeweler’s store before he proposed a few months ago. I brought it to Jared to have it cleaned on my lunch break about a week ago. As the associate began checking my prongs she told me that it appeared as though about half of the prongs on the shanks and halo were either broken off or worn away. She said that meant that basically all of these settings would need to be completely redone and it would cost at least $ 1400. She then told me that I had somehow broken my center diamond and that it would have to be replaced as well. She showed me the«break» and said that the diamond may be broken all the way through as well. I left with my ring very upset and decided to have it checked elsewhere just in case. Another jeweler thankfully was able to explain that what she thought were missing prongs was actually just the style of setting used in the pave diamonds and that this«break» she saw was a surface flaw that had been there since the diamond was cut. Very unhappy with the fact that she basically told me I had ruined my ring when in fact she clearly did not have the knowledge to even say those kind of things to customers. Will not be returning to any of their stores. Employees should not be acting like they are jewelers when they clearly are not.

Went here to get my wife a new wedding ring being that she has had the same one for over 12 years and it was what I could afford at the time. I went here with my 13 year old daughter and I had on sweat pants and a hoodie jacket, guess that was a no no cause the helper-monkey literally looked at me from head to toe and gave me a «he’s gonna waist his time with me look» which I was laughing in my head about. I told him what I was in the market for and he immediately took me to the cheapest stuff they had. I let him waist his time showing me everything I know I wasn’t gonna buy and then told him show me something nicer, he looked at me and gave immediately advised me of the price range of nicer stuff and if I was sure I wanted to see. I said, yep. He showed me some rings, in which I liked some and set them aside and he started telling me about a finance plan, which I asked nothing about. While showing me rings he started bragging about Burberry products he has and has bought his girl etc. not realizing that I had on a Breitling watch that I’m sure he can’t afford on his Jared’s salary, well unless maybe he finances it. Anyways, while watching the rings I remembered their Levian chocolate commercials and my wife loves chocolate, so I asked him to see them, he gave me the hurry up and buy nothing and get out attitude and led me over there. Me and my daughter picked out a ring he asked how I was gonna pay and if I wanted the finance plan, and I was like nope, I’m paying cash, attitude immediately changed. I got my ring walked out and laughed with my daughter on our way home about the whole experience. Note to Jared employees, stop being so damn snobby and judging your customers! Although my wife loved the ring I probably will not shop at Jared’s again and will warn others of my experience.

I have come here twice now for watch repairs, once to change out a battery, and once because my watch band broke and needed repair. Both times the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend this store for repair or shopping.

So I go into a store that also sells watches and say I need a watch battery for an inexpensive watch. HM#1-come back in January can’t do it now. Say I’ll put it in just sell me the battery. HM#2-can do that. Finally a young gentleman at the watch counter opens it up and is going to let me do it. Another HM#3-you need a experience battery changer or you’ll damage the watch-yeh right been doing it for years-just need the d… battery. FINALLY mission accomplished until they wanted to charge $ 25 for a $ 5 – 7 battery. Told HM#3 that was only 500% of the real cost. Eventually she just said there was not charge??? Guess they just wanted me out of there. What an experience I’ll talk about for ages.

Had a wonderful experience at Jared, I was having alterations done to a ring I had bought online, having stones removed and adding better ones and also had an engraving done. The customer service was amazing and I really felt as if the person dealing with me was focused on helping me out and taking care of my needs. The whole process took almost a week because I had to have several different things done to the ring, but every time I went back in the store, the same person would always deal with me and was always friendly and didn’t care to spend time talking with me. I never felt rushed or guided into making a budget busting purchase either. What I got was great customer service and high quality stones & excellent engraving work. Will definitely go back to business with Jared again.
