I highly recommend this «men’s» only barbershop. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. This place is the way old style mens barbershop’s used to be! I get a great cut every time I go there I will never go anyplace else!

I highly recommend Drew, especially if your are in any type of business where image is important. He gives a great classic handsome cut and experience. He listens carefully and is detail-​oriented. His beard work is fabulous. Overall, Modern Male is the best in the Philly burbs. It’s worth the trip even if you’re in the Lehigh Valley area. You won’t be disappointed.

I took my 1 year old son for his first haircut to Modern Male barbershop today. I am so impressed with this place. They were so nice to us and made his first haircut experience one to remember. After the haircut my son received a certificate for «bravely enduring «he his first haircut and we also got a keepsake that had his locks of hair that were cut. Nice touch. On top of it all they did it for free. I of course tipped the barber very well for the first class treatment we got. I also got my haircut there today. This place is not some chop shop. They take there time and do it correctly. I got the best haircut I ever had as a adult. It reminded me of the barbershop I went to as a kid growing up in Philly. It’s almost like stepping into a different era when going into their shop. I recommend this place to any man.

My daughter took her 3yr old son to this shop today wanting to get him a boys haircut and give him the barbershop experience. She walked in and they were all sitting there… no clients… and just looked at her. She asked if she could get his hair cut and they asked if she had an appointment and she said no… they said «try up front» and nothing more. Not «Hey, let’s get you an appointment set up» or «can you come back later?»…never even acknowledged my grandson… just flat out rude. She walked out feeling so stupid for even walking in. Now mind you, I am a stylist at a salon and my daughter is a receptionist at the salon as well. We know how salons and such work. I could never imagine turning a client down. let alone being rude to someone. I always recommended this shop and gave rave reviews… not anymore.

Nick and co. getting too big too fast? Two out of last three cuts were supercuts-​level. Going to look elsewhere. Great place to hang out, but this is no longer the place for consistently good haircuts.

This place is amazing. The barbers are the greatest and genuine. I really felt like «one of the guys.» They were booked solid when I tried to make the appointment, but offered a call back if they had any cancellations. As soon as I walked in, it was clear why they stand apart. Great space, over the top customer service, superb cut (went to baby butt smooth on my head and cleaned up my beard), and a cold beer during my service… how could this place be less than 5 stars?! Also very reasonable prices. Amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Great group of guys that have really refined their skills. The benefit of being able to make appointments is key and one of the biggest reasons I first started going. I used to never get my haircut over lunch because I never knew how long I would wait. Now I book an appointment at 12:30 with Pawel and 30 minutes later I’m done and on my way back to the office.

This is the closest you will come to an old fashion barber shop in a world that is filled with chain salons and all that non-​sense. The barbers all take their time and ensure you are happy with your cut and will not rush it just to fit someone else in. The best part they straight razor your next and supply a hot towel after the cut complementary! No one else does that?! I highly recommend this barber shop and will be a customer for as long as it is around.

Modern Male barbershop is the only place I go to get my haircut. Great barbers with amazing skill and great people all together. Always cold beer on tap and laughs all around. They’re on another level when it comes to highest quality in the business. Recommend that everyone goes here!

First off, this is a real barbershop. It’s not a salon. You won’t start off with getting your hairwashed, and there will be no boobs accidently bumping against your elbow or shoulder. What you will get is a great haircut and an experience that yout won’t find at any hair cutting chain. This is a men’s barbershop. There is a kegarator for the men, and a fridge full of root beer for the boys. The absence of women leads to some great male conversations when the room is full of men, but everyone is respectful to calm it down when younger children come in to the shop. As for the crew, you can’t go wrong with any of the guys. They are all awesome barbers, and awesome guys. So, stop going to the Hair Cuttery or to the same salon that your wife or girlfriend goes to and head to Modern Male. That is, unless you’re not a male.
