Atmosphere has one of kind charm. We found Arielle’s on Opentable and decided to drive 30 min to give it a try. This was our last meal before my wife was to give birth to our twins. Last night out for awhile. :). We ordered the Scallops and Clams Casino. They were delicious. The Pear and Ice Cream is a must. We’ll be back… hopefully when the newborns are bigger!

A very nice, little restaurant listed on the back roads in Sellersville. Our waitress was very helpful and courteous. All the the cuisine is fresh and professionally prepared. The filet was cooked perfection and was flavorful. Their wine list is just ok, but that would not stop us from returning and recommending it to friends.

Weekly Special on the website advertised«FRESHBLUEPOINTOYSTERSONTHEHALFSHELL» — Guess what? They weren’t serving them this evening… really? After truly expressing our disgust, especially after I had cancelled my reservation at Maize in Perkasie(sorry folks) because my wife really wanted oysters. OK, I’ll take the scallops and my wife ordered the Escargot… minutes later«we’re all out of them… both» — Now this is getting farcical. So we settle for and finally get Clams Casino and Calamari — I won’t comment on the clams because I didn’t try them, the calamari was your standard fare Italian restaurant style, ie nothing to write home about and fried to pieces. I ordered the Filet Mignon entrée and I think it’s just about the first time in my 44 yrs on this planet that I’ve just not felt the need/desire to finish it, it was so underwhelming, as were the accompanying potatoes and vegetables. To top everything off — is it so friggin difficult to make an Irish Coffee? I started to question myself and came home to look up how one should be served. Thankfully my understanding was correct, you don’t fill half a glass with coffee and whiskey then spray whipped cream on top and throw a straw in it!!! Oh, and serving frozen butter with rolls didn’t really do anything for me either. Totally disappointed and will never return.

Went there for the first time last night and it was amazing. This place is gorgeous(make sure to put reservations for the fireplace room on cold nights, it’s amazing). The staff were very young, but highly professional and well trained. I ordered the shrimp linguini Fra Diablo and that was on a whole different level of cooking than I am use to. Not only were the shrimp about the size of my fist, they were cooked perfectly and there were plenty of them(probably a full pound). I will be recommending this place to everyone

My family and I love this place. The atmosphere is that of an older home with great food. I had the crab cakes delicious is all I can say. My wife had the scallops and enjoyed every bite. We both had deserts and like the main course we’re delicious. Make a reservation and give them a try, you’ll love the cooking.

Ordered Ahi Tuna, came out over cooked, so dry could barely chew it let alone swallow it. When brought to the waitresses attention she gladly took it back. Then came back and said«that is the only way the chef knows how to cook it, would you like something else?» By that time my wife was over half way done her meal. I said no that’s fine. The manager/owner came over and said«you didn’t like the tuna?» I said no that it was a bit dry and over cooked. No apologies were given, they didn’t even offer us dessert. When the bill came the tuna was still on the bill! We paid and left, ruined my «birthday night out». We have not been back since, it’s a shame.

My wife and I have been coming to Arielle’s for years now and have never been disappointed. Yes, in the past the service could be somewhat slow but understandable for what used to be a struggling restaurant, however, the food has always been superb. Now that word has gotten out, Ariele’s is no longer struggling and has«beefed» up(no pun intended) their waitstaff so service is very good. My personal favorite is the prime rib which is always high quality and cooked to perfection with an excellent topping. The lamb is to die for and the portions are generous. All of the seafood dishes have been excellent as well. For dessert, our«go to» dishes are the pears and ice cream, the crème brûlée and the pecan pie. This is one of the première restaurants in the area and is always our first choice for special occasions. You won’t be disappointed.

Good service, good quality food, good wine, great coffee. The house salad was Large and Fresh, with better-than-average accompaniments, and decent blue cheese dressing(no mayo, with actual cheese chunks). Only wish it didn’t have pickled beets, but that it did have fresh mushrooms instead. The grilled walnut-crusted salmon was great; tender, buttery, perfectly cooked, and was a substantial portion. The bacon-wrapped char-grilled filet with Gorgonzola was cooked perfectly medium and came with amazing, if unassuming, veggies. The sliced potato, sweet potato(or carrot?) and peeled eggplant were tender, yet not mushy and had a lovely seasoned stock glaze on them. The flavor was sort of coaxed out of each one, so they were lightly sweet, but distinctive. I want to know how, now! Rolls were just O.K., but the butter served in a ramekin tasted a little like an old fridge. Cover that stuff up, it takes on odors!!! Wanted what was on their website’s home page, but they didn’t have any Blue Point Oysters at our visit, nor the Black Angus New York strip steak. The lobster ravioli weren’t very special. They weren’t «plump,» and the sauce wasn’t «zesty,» as described. It had a vague crab flavor and the pasta was a bit tough/thick. One companion said they were better as a leftover the next day(?) One companion got roasted duck and said it was, «O.K.» The mango sorbet was very fragrant, with an intense flavor. It was a large portion in a big, green, antique-like glass goblet. The chargers(that the salad plates rest on) were chipped. There was a mini pine tree with white lights in the main dining room(?) The ceiling fan near our table was on full-blast(but adjustable). The outdoor flower garden, featuring a koi pond and three dogs and one cat, is quite charming.

We were on our way to meet some friends, and decided to stop here for dinner. It was a little more expensive than the restaurants we normally choose, but the atmosphere, and the food was worth it. It is a shame it is not nearby where we live, this would be an ideal place for special outings. My husband had the crab cakes and I had the rainbow trout. Both meals were served promptly, screaming hot, and delicious! We did not have appetizers, salad or dessert, and were both full when we finished. What a charming place!

Such a sweet hidden gem. Small menu but very creative. The escargot appetizer was absolutely delicious! And hands down one of the best crème brûlée’s I have ever had. Large fireplace, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We went here on a Wednesday night for a small family celebration dinner. It was our first time there despite living only a few miles away. My first impression of the décor was that it was a little stuffy and I thought it was strange that they still had Christmas decorations up in July. The dining room was empty when we arrived yet it still took some time after we were seated for the waitress to come around to take our drink orders. The waitress brought my wine in a timely manner but for some reason it took forever for my son to get his beer. And that is how the evening went. More people came into the dining room and we were all seated in close proximity to each other and yet the service was painfully slow. I was really expecting to see some unique dishes on the menu considering all the good reviews but honestly, there was nothing on the menu that I haven’t made at home… steak, pork chops, fish, pasta. My husband and I ordered fish and my son ordered veal. My daughter ordered mushroom tortellini and was told that it was actually Italian sausage tortellini. My daughter doesn’t eat meat and there were very few options on the menu for non meat eaters. The waitress offered to make her pasta primavera. The food was OK. It wasn’t good enough to bring us back. There was no creativity. Don’t go there hungry. The protein was a decent size but it was served with only 3 potato wedges and smattering of green beans. It was enough for us because we are not big eaters but don’t expect to leave there full. The waitress was pleasant enough although she did seem overwhelmed at times. She seemed rushed and frazzled. There was a food runner whose attitude screamed, «I hate my job.» I wondered, since I live so close, why I never heard my friends or neighbors talk about this restaurant. Now I know. The fact of the matter is, it is just OK, nothing special. We are crossing this place off our list.

We love Arielle’s. We’ve been coming for a few years now and think that we can give it a fair review. When we first started coming a few years ago, the food was good, atmosphere was nice, but it could be a bit slow. It didn’t really bother us until we brought out children a couple times, then the wait could be painful. Still, we would come here when it was just adults or for group functions, and everyone we recommended it to enjoyed it. Our last visit was about a month ago. We hadn’t been here in about a year and were a little surprised. The food, which was good before, was even better this time. My braised lamb shank was big, fork tender, and delicious. My lobster bisque was creamy and flavorful. The other entrée I tried was the pork medallions in a peppercorn sauce. I didn’t really think I would like it, but it was spectacular. As said in other reviews, I’ve had the mixed grill and it’s good as well. Here’s the one you can’t miss. The pork chop. Yes, you read right, the pork chop. It’s a big chop, tender, juicy, full of flavor and is exactly how a pork chop should be. It’s not dry, it’s not tough, it doesn’t taste like a chewy mess. It’s absolutely wonderful. The problem? They often sell out. The last time we went, they only had 1 order left. The side vegetables and starch are very good as well. Usually at country inn places, the sides aren’t really much to speak of, but they are very good here. The desserts were good as well. I had a poached pear with ice cream that was really outstanding. I loved that they had a poached fruit, you don’t see that much anymore. Our server the last time we were there was Arielle, and she’s a charming lady. We have had other servers in the past, and we haven’t had issues. Overall, our last visit was the best we’ve had yet, the food came out in good time, it was delicious, and we were able to have a great conversation with our friends without feeling rushed or crowded. They can accommodate large parties as well which is also great.

What a great restaurant. This place is a gem — a great find, considering that it’s hiding away on Allentown road. The food was great, especially for the cost. The prices are very reasonable given the portions and quality. An 8oz filet topped crab meat and gorgonzola cheese for $ 21? Talk about a good deal. Will definitely be back soon, but will have to try the outside seating. If you’re in the area, give this place a try. You won’t regret it!

I love this place! The atmosphere is quaint and homey yet elegant at the same time. They have the best escargot I have ever had, and my husband adores their lobster bisque. It’s a great place to go for a special occasion, or when you just want to enjoy a nice, quiet dinner out at a great restaurant. I typically make a reservation when going, I am honestly not sure if that is recommended or not but I do just in case. Nice wait staff, great food(especially the chicken cordon bleu).

Had dinner here last night with my wife. We sat outside in the flower garden. Being late summer, the birds and butterflies were out and about amongst the flowers. The restaurant had created an excellent setting to relax and have dinner. We started with the gazpacho. It was made with beets and heirloom tomatoes. It was very good. Our entrees included the crab cakes and a filet. Both were accompanied with local summer vegies. I suspect they were grown on site. It was very tasty and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back. I do recommend getting a reservation and sitting outside if at all possible,

Third visit and my only complaint is why I do not go there more often. Had the escargot and it was one of the best I ever had including in Paris. The cat fish special was to die for for! It is so nice during the week no noise no crowds, just a lovely evening. The owner, Christine is delightful!!!

My boyfriend and I had a delicious last minute Sunday dinner at Arielle’s a few weeks ago. We had a voucher and figured we would give Arielle’s a try. A lot of times when I’ve purchased the vouchers in the past, the restaurant has been a miss, but not this time. The restaurant itself is located in what I consider a pretty remote area. However the views were beautiful on our drive up from Hatboro. According to the owner, the building is was an inn with lodging upstairs and a tavern downstairs. The owners actually live above the restaurant, which makes a lot more sense to me considering their Sunday hours(5 – 7). There are beautiful gardens out front with bistro tables and chairs you can sit at during the nice weather. We sat inside and although I’m not a big fan of country décor, it really suits Arielle’s. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had the crab cake and the cream of asparagus soup for an appetizer. My boyfriend had the chicken cordon blue for his entrée And I had the mixed grill which came with duck confit(juicy and Delish and I don’t even usually like dark meat), filet mignon skewer(perfectly cooked) and bratwurst(never had been my favorite, but I think they did a good job). We were stuffed after the large portions and didn’t have any room for desert. The size of the meals definitely make up for the prices. If we had never gotten the voucher, we probably would have never found this place. This is a great place for an upscale meal in the country.
