Although the Hospital seemed very clean and well maintained, My daughter had her baby there the baby was born with a broken collar bone they told her it will heal it self. I did see 2 nurses in the nurses station there may have been more babies i did not see any ‚ The room was really nice not like you see at the hospital normally it did seem very homey.

This is a very nice hospital, being renovated a couple years ago. As you enter the patient tower, you are greeted by the volunteers in their blue smocks. Sweet gray haired ladies with nothing but love and joy on their faces. Their is a lot of art work around the hospital’s waiting areas and ample greenery and plants. The equipment in many of the diagnostic areas is state of the art. All of the waiting areas for the different departments has plenty of access to coffee, magazines, and restrooms. I especially like the Cascades café, a full service café serving sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, salad bar, fresh fruit, coffee, and juices. What few hours that they don’t happen to be open, there is a full vending area next door with about 6 machines serving sandwiches, coffee, candy, chips, and hot entrees. Yes, all vended. The nursing staff and doctors are very professional and caring. No one talks down to the patient.

Nice, clean, new facility makes for a comfortable stay, however the staff needs a lesson in people skills! When dealing with health, nurses should realize that people will have questions that deserve to be answered thoroughly and with understanding. We’re not all medical professionals!
