While in Seguin, I stopped to try Chupacabra Java. Cool little place! I ordered a straight black coffee-I was so pleased to see that my coffee did Not come from a coffee pot! Coffee was legit!

I popped in here while on a trip to visit family and let me just say I’m so BUMMED that it isn’t closer to where I live! Beautiful interior, great atmosphere, and the guy who made my drink was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered the Goat Sucker which I am loving. Thanks, y’all!

Found this nice coffee place via Unilocal, and I was glad I stopped by. I was greeted promptly, and the tea I ordered was great. The artwork and paintings are great. The coffee shop has so much personality! If you want to support a local business and drink good coffee or tea, then this place is it! And the cool atmosphere is a plus.

The coffee was amazing. The atmosphere is really cool as well. I had an Americano and it was well balanced, not too acidic. I will definitely be going back on my next trip to Seguin!

Snickers coffee, amazing panini and cool décor. The owners are super-friendly and make you feel right at home. A rare eclectic find in Seguin. A must stop.

I absolutely love this little café! I don’t get here anywhere as often as I would like. However, I always look forward to visiting with the owners and laughing with their little boy. My favorite is their chicken grilled quesadilla with avocado and I’m working my way through their drink list. Haven’t found one I don’t like. Highly recommended!

I drink espresso. For someone who drinks mixed beverages with milk and syrups it may not matter. The espresso here is not good. No crema, and more of a «burnt» flavor. Needed a small spoon to put in some sugar, and was given a soup spoon that would not even fit in the cup, because they don’t have espresso spoons. There seems to be another specialty coffee joint about a mile from here that I’ll try next time I’m around. I guess it was to much to ask to find good espresso in rural Texas:(

This is a first class operation(a coffee shop housed in an old house). The prices were about the same as other shops, and they know their coffee here. Their coffee is roasted in Austin. I got an Americano, which is one or two shots of espresso with water and a little crème. It is basically one strong cup of coffee. It was smooth and brewed perfectly for about $ 2. There are many rooms to relax here in addition to their outdoor covered patio. The place was clean and the staff is super friendly.

When we’re on road trips we always try to find a local spot to try. It’s fun to get something more varied than a fast food burger and it’s nice to support local business. We enjoyed Chupacabra. It had a relaxed vibe and the guy who owns it was very nice, as well. The downside was that the food took foooorever. There’s a reason the Mickey D’s of the world have such a big following with the road trip crowd — it’s five minutes out of your drive! Our lunch at Chupacabra took closer to 40 minutes to prepare. That being said, the food was delicious! Next time we’ll just call ahead so that it’s ready for us when we get there. And I’ll definitely try a coffee cocktail next time, too. They sounded amazing.

This is one of my favorite places in Seguin. Their coffee drinks are awesome! Their food is always yummy. The owners are so nice and friendly. It’s kid friendly and pet friendly. There is indoor seating and a covered patio. My recommendation: Mocha Me Loco coffee and the chicken quesadilla panini or Quincy’s Quiche. Cookies as big as your face! Cool art. Great vibe. A definite must.
