Nice people at first then turns in to a scam when you try to cancel service. I drove 6 hours to cancel my membership because I moved to turn around a few months later to find out that they «lost» my cancellation paperwork. I may take out a giant ad in Seguin newspaper to talk about this scam. I am furious and they refuse to make things right. Please be careful when signing a contract with this company.

Before I start, I want to say I am not originally from Seguin. I have literally traveled the world because of what I do. This is not the first gym I have been a member of but it will surely be my last! I seldom write reviews about an organization or business unless they are noteworthy and deserve to be recognized. 78 155 Fitness meets and exceeds those standards. The staff is top notch, the equipment is in good condition, and my voice is always heard when I express it. They give to the community by sponsoring fitness events at their facility and donate the proceeds to various charities. (March of Dimes and Toys for Tots to name a few) I have been coming here for a year and it is like a second home to me. I can always expect to be greeted by anyone working the front desk and know most by first name. It’s that kind of atmosphere that sets this place apart from «Globo-​gyms». It’s members are not considered paying customers but more like family. They have helped me achieve goals that I had set for myself over the past year. I am positive this will continue in the future. If you want positive reinforcement and coaches that will push you to better yourself, this is the place for you!

The management of this gym is capable of being unwilling to work with members. I requested privately multiple times that equal treatment of contract terms be applied to my contract as they applied to a family member’s contract and they refused. (Also three of the six treadmills out on the main floor did not work properly for over a month. With the prices this gym charges one would expect repairs to be made in more of a timely manner.)
